“I was a hot mess as a child. My dad abandoned me. My mom raised me alone, and I turned to drugs.” “It’s not easy being a single parent. You need a man in your life. You need a father figure for male children.” - Bucci Franklin

Keeping the tradition alive 🥹🏆 Every time Pedri wins a trophy, he takes a penalty against his dad 🥅 Pedri’s father, Fernando, was once a local goalkeeper but gave up football after the passing of his own father 😔 To pay tribute to him, Pedri always takes a penalty against his father whenever he wins a trophy 🏆 And of course, they kept the tradition alive after Barcelona won another La Liga title 🫡 A father-and-son bond like no other ❤️

Having your own money changes the dynamic you have with the people in your life. From parents, friends to romantic partners. It gives you a chance to love and interact with them from a place of choice and not survival. Your money gives you options of who stays in your life. Stay rich ma nigga.

Why do graduate job ads in Nigeria have age restrictions, when we know the challenges a lot of less privileged people face getting a degree?

as you are reading and learning new skills, you are also calculating on how to maximize the petrol you have left or how to use the power left on your solar system. you can't even concentrate without thinking about power supply, water supply, and also network for data. i still wrote an exam remotely last month, had to switch on two hotspot at the same time cos while the exam is on, you are not allowed to touch mobile phones. you can't solely depend on one source.

This country annoys me, people will graduate from university in different practical courses, go to nysc camp and they’ll be teaching people how to make soap and do beads. How to make shoes and belts. You’re not even primed and prepared for greatness.
