Clavicular reveals his current daily drug protocol "Adderall 30mg a day dosed 10, 10 and 10. Last dose is variable depending on whether I'm streaming or want to go to bed early. Selegiline which is an MAO-B inhibitor, basically blocks your body from breaking down dopamine, that's a transdermal patch. Pregabalin to block excitatory neurotransmitters so I'm less anxious and can handle crowded spaces. And Baclofen which is a GABA-B agonist similar to the receptor alcohol hits since I'm quitting drinking."

@TheDavidWeck I agree with you on so much. What are your thoughts on @EricCressey methods with his pro pitchers. He’s big on stability and anti rotation/extension, but also incorporates lots of rotational work. He clearly has excellent results. Would be interesting to hear both perspectives.

@_saratonnin Create a minimalist home gym set up if possible. Mostly Dumbbells with a box/bench. Or find a budget fitness centre. Or join a BJJ school that provides weight training equipment (some do). Rock climbing, maybe make it seasonal or a fun night out. Running is easy.

@Bengal_DPT I can tell by your first post and this response that you do not understand physiology and exercise science. There is more to exercise selection than aiming for strength gains based on limiting factors. Neuromuscular control, RFD, neural drive, etc.

Why a lot of dudes that train Chest regularly still have ZERO Upper Chest to speak of: (A) too much focus on incline angle + (B) too little a focus on ARM PATH Should you wind up in a position like this (See Photo 1) on an Incline movement that you intend to bias the Upper (Clavicular) Pecs with…you will actually end up using WAY MORE STERNAL PEC This is because the Sternal Pecs have the best leverage to do horizontal adduction (bring the arm across the body) in this plane The Upper Pecs are SHOULDER FLEXORS meaning they bring the arm forward/up Thus, if you’re going to bias the Upper Pecs you’re going to want tucked elbows so that you’re actually training the function the Upper Pecs have best leverage to do

More people need to understand that the upper arm path is way more important than the actual incline. Flaring elbows is going to turn it into a flat press again (by biasing the mid pecs), regardless of the incline. So the key no matter the variation is elbows tucked (around 45 deg). Great thread as always
