On 8/22, we celebrated the Grand Opening of The Iris at 2444 S Barry Ave! Developed by @AffirmedHousing, this 61-unit affordable community includes 34 units for homeless individuals, with services by @ThePplConcern.

We’re excited to share that, in partnership with Compass for Affordable Housing, we have awarded our annual Douglas W. Masson Memorial Scholarship to an exceptional group of residents from our affordable and supportive housing communities across California. #FutureLeaders

First affordable project I ever worked on officially cut the red ribbon today. Vitalia looks great! Shoutout to @AffirmedHousing @PamFoleyD9 @SupEllenberg and many others that worked to make today possible. It took over 4 years, but we did it and these 79 new homes were worth it!

Today we officially cut the “red” ribbon for the new Vitalia Apartments! This is the first affordable housing complex that I’ve seen come to fruition in District 9 during my time on City Council and I am so proud to have these beautiful new homes available in our community!
