Issues like gender identity, social acceptance, intervention outcomes, etc. may rely on subjective input, but can still be examined with objective methods.

But, do put gender identity in a long list of human complexities that deserve objective, on-going study aimed at minimizing human suffering. Language is a important tool in that goal. Meanwhile, an open mind and some compassion can go a long way.

Does trans attract the disabled? Canes and chairs definitely over-representative. Or, are some of these people faking disabilities as well as their gender? Is it the non binary or the egg?

@JackxJewell Being neurodivergent (e.g. autism) makes you more likely to identify as transgender, but also more likely to have an actual disability. Plus, if your "gender affirming" surgery gets botched (pretty good likelihood of that) you might have trouble walking.

@DaleThomo @toiletpaperaus1 You're naive to think that "just buy a house in a smaller town" is a viable option for most people who are struggling to buy a house. There are reasons why those houses and the land are cheaper.

@DaleThomo @toiletpaperaus1 easy-peasy to get into, of course, but we're facing a social time-bomb if it continues to be as difficult as it now is. The ratio of house prices to yearly salary must come down somehow, and there must be more stable employment.
