@AgentSwitf @lydiabackagain @hutchinson There is some speculation of wrong doing being that they alleged they silenced pro palestine voices for pro israel ones. Thats a big accusation and not something anyone should take lightly.

Taylor Lorenz claimed the 90 influencers in Chorus’ incubator program that she was aware of primarily “have not spoken out about Palestine/are pro Israel.” I asked which of the creators she named in the article were “pro-Israel,” and she didn’t give me a single name.

@hutchinson Two things can be true, Taylor can be a liar and Chorus can be culpable for even letting it get this far, I blame wired and Taylor for publishing it but I also blame Chorus for knowing what was getting published and not asking for corrections or giving comments, happy now?

@lydiabackagain @FlareTest90 @hutchinson Again, there is zero speculation of wrongdoing and this level of discourse if Chorus doesn't sit on their hands for a month and not comment before the story came out, Why wouldn't they run the story if it was sent to chorus and they had nothing to say about it before release

@AgentSwitf @FlareTest90 @hutchinson She thinks that being asked the most basic questions on things left vague by her article amounts to a meritless attack. She could end all of this by not acting cagey all the time.

@FlareTest90 @lydiabackagain @hutchinson Purely devils advocate, but if chorus and these creators had an issue with the article why have there still been no requests for corrections? Like why am I giving chorus blind faith on this

@AgentSwitf @lydiabackagain @hutchinson I would agree with that take if it wasnt for the fact that Hutch had specifically asked about the ones already named in the article her response was "youll have to go there page and see for yourself" rather than saying yes or no

@hutchinson Those creators might not be pro Israel, it's increasingly unpopular these days to be openly pro Israel in the political world so It would stand to reason the pro Israel creators might be the ones who asked to remain anonymous

@AgentSwitf She named several creators in her article. If her claim is that the creator list she saw was “primarily pro-Israel,” it’s bizarre that she couldn’t give me one example from the creators named in her article.

@lydiabackagain @FlareTest90 @hutchinson So it's entirely possible Hutch was grilling her for names she wasn't allowed to give and tone policing the shit out of the article and complaining about certain adjectives she used

@Agath_Lord @hutchinson True, I've also said this multiple times, Chorus at any point could have quashed the whole story by simply commenting this entire unproductive discourse could have been solved if Chorus just responded to Wired during the month before the story broke

@AgentSwitf @hutchinson Yes, I don’t know why Hutch thinks it’s Taylor’s responsibility to do what Chorus should be doing, while defending Chorus who doesn’t do what they should be doing. It’s the upside down world, makes you wonder what his intentions are

@AgentSwitf @Beardballs @Jason___YYC Grocery stores have miniscule profit margins. Reckless spending on virtue signalling projects, expensive virtue signalling taxes are to blame for the worst G7 food inflation.

Hey Carney @MarkJCarney, you rat-faced, snake-oil grifter: $24 for just over 2 lbs. of hamburger. HAMBURGER!!! WTF happened to “Judge me by the price of groceries”??

Canada currently: -21% of employees work for the governement. -has a sovereign wealth fund (using debt) that only provides "regulatory support" to government selected projects. -An infrastructure bank, that also does the same. -Build Canada Homes, which uses tax dollars to build homes. -government grocery stores popping up. -The party in power is offering extra cash for ridings where the MP betrays their constituents to cross the floor and give the ruling party more power. Tell me again how we are not communist.

@hutchinson @ZenSeezen Then let's do that and call it a wealth tax, everyone wins, populists get their flashy name and tax burden is distributed more evenly

Is it possible to oppose a policy for good faith reasons and not be accused of opposing what the policy is trying to accomplish? On a wealth tax, you will find that many countries tried and abandoned the policy because it didn’t deliver the way they thought it would.
