Sorry to hear that. The issue for me is that crew issues are a grey area ripe for misrepresentation. It is highly subjective to attribute a crew issue to snow, long after an airport is snow-free. If you plan ahead and assign crew and backup crew properly, there is no reason there should be a surprise no-show an hour after a plane is scheduled for departure, in a major metropolitan area like New York, long after the snow storm has passed.

OK, as I spend the night in JFK airport, let me get something off my chest: stranded in New York for 3 nights and @AmericanAir will not provide a hotel voucher, so I'm over 700 dollars out of pocket. Why not? Because they're coding crew and maintenance issues as "weather-related." I just found out a guy headed for Argentina got a hotel voucher because his flight cancellation was coded as "crew-related." My flight to Madrid was cancelled due to the captain not showing up and it was coded "weather-related" - so dozens of passengers were left to fend for themselves. Had this crew issue been coded as.. yes, you guessed, as a crew issue, vouchers would have been issued. Not acceptable, American.

I got audited for 2022 taxes and the IRS told me I owed like 17,000 in taxes. I didn't owe them anything. I sent every piece of evidence and written explanations of every dollar. The rejected my response, charged more interest and said I owed them 19k now. Even though it took them 11 months to respond. Had to get a CPA to send a response saying the same thing I said. Cost me $2k for that. Just got a letter which basically says, ahh.. nevermind.. we are closing the audit. Very happy I don't have to pay off the US government to get them to leave me alone. Not very happy I can't bill them the $2k and about 4 fulls days of my own labor that I had to spend to tell them they are incompetent.

@792FlSportspod @billyliucci Obviously I meant undefeated until Texas. That is the timeframe you set in your first response (…after the SC game…) As to record, A&M is #4 on SOR, #17 on SOD and #10 in FPI. Clearly not as weak as you are suggesting.

Lot of different answers here from A&M fans and others I'm sure but the takeaway is: Breakthrough year for the A&M program in Year Two under Elko. Aggies accomplished a lot en route to 11-1 and first-ever playoff berth. Set a new standard.

@792FlSportspod @billyliucci Bad wins are always better than good losses. And until the Texas game, A&M had all of one (minus ND and maybe Missouri) and none of the other.

@Aggiedave1998 @billyliucci And yeah I'm aware a&m doesn't choose their schedule so it's not their fault for ending up with a weak conference schedule but that doesn't change how someone can view those wins and the quality of them

@792FlSportspod @billyliucci What A&M lacked, that all of your examples have,is losses…and in some cases BAD losses (Florida). If one is forced to argue that good losses are better than bad wins, the answer is clear.

@Aggiedave1998 @billyliucci And they may be a top 10 team but you all had 3 teams who could have made a case for top 10 nationally at any point this season (notre dame, Miami and Texas) and went 1-2 in those games A&M may have been that good but it would have to be based on overall skill bc resume isn't

@792FlSportspod @billyliucci Going undefeated is a pretty good indicator. You can only play the schedule you’re given. We can spend all day on the “A&M beat X who beat Y” argument. Not super productive, but I’m pretty comfortable saying A&M was a top 10 team.

@Aggiedave1998 @billyliucci And when I say frauds this isn't to say a&m was completely bad They probably still were a top 5 team in the sec or at least in the conversation but there was nothing after the notre dame game to suggest they were top 10 in the country
