Maureen Galindo, a Democrat running for Congress in TX-35, says in an Instagram post that she would turn an ICE detention center near San Antonio “into a prison for American Zionists”, and will also use it as a castration processing center for pedophiles, “which will probably be most of the Zionists”. Yes, it’s real, and yes the post is still up. She has a runoff election next week. In other posts on her Instagram, Galindo claims that her runoff opponent, Johnny Garcia, was part of a human trafficking conspiracy orchestrated by “billionaire Zionist Jews.”

🚨BREAKING: Brown University student Alex Shieh previously EVISCERATED the school's administrators for having a $46 million deficit, despite surging costs for students. They pay $90K+ PER YEAR. Alex Shieh: "What about the kids who weren't born on third base?! [...] Brown is on track to run a $46 million DEFICIT this year. WHERE is all the money going?" "I'll tell you where it's going. It's going into an empire of administrative bloat and bureaucracy! Brown employs 3,805 full time non-instructional staff for just 7,229 undergrads. That's one administrator for every two students." "This isn't education. This is bloat paid for on the backs of students and families who are mortgaging their futures for a shot at a better life!" Do you firmly support Alex Shieh on this? A. Huge Yes B. No IF Yes, Give me a THUMBS-UP👍!! MAKE THIS GO VIRAL ON 𝕏. LET’S GO 👏

@PhilipGreenspun @jackunheard You are missing the relatively new town of Tradition in PSL. Two K-8 schools, high school , preschool, hospital, four 55+ communities, town square with gazebo on a large manmade lake, activities every weekend, playgrounds.

Your question might need clarification because "Florida" is the size of all of New England. Pensacola, Jacksonville, Orlando, West Palm Beach, Naples, Miami, and Key West are all part of Florida, but someone who loved Miami would like be bored in Naples. (My personal favorites: West Palm Beach for city life without kids; Jupiter for suburban life with kids; The Villages for senior social life). I guess the California billionaires disagree since they're all going to Miami and Miami Beach, but the traffic in Miami is brutal and if you don't speak Spanish you miss half of what's going on.)

I see a lot of posts on X where people complain about how ugly driveways and garages are. This is a problem that Disney solved when they designed the town of Celebration. The garages are in a rear alley, so the front street looks pretty. But this idea never caught on, And instead of celebrating this architecture (no pun intended), people just hate on Celebration for being kitsch, artificial, too white, etc.

@Richard_Florida This distortion doesn’t mention the number, 10000 fewer people on a population of 2.8 million. Perhaps those folks moved to Broward County which grew by 18,000 to 34,000 new residents?

@MarioNawfal Nice soundbite, but details matter. Critics say the SAVE America Act could make it harder for elderly, students, and low income voters. If you want consistency, push for practical fixes: free IDs, same day registration, and safeguards against disenfranchisement.

🇺🇸 Sen. Mike Lee blasted Democratic opposition to the SAVE America Act, arguing it makes no sense to require ID for flights, bank withdrawals, and licenses, but not for voting: “Imagine if nobody had to prove their identity at any time… You’d be laughed at if you said ‘some people might find it difficult to comply, therefore, we’re not going to require any identification.’” In America, apparently you need an ID for cold medicine… but voting is where the issue is. 🇺🇸 Sen. Bill Hagerty says Republicans are talking about scrapping the modern “zombie” filibuster so they can pass the SAVE America Act with 50 votes plus JD Vance. “Now that we have Susan Collins on board, we will be laser-focused on getting this to the floor!” Source: @EricLDaugh, @atrupar, Fox News

@PhilipGreenspun The ‘legacy’ systems are often written in COBOL, running processes that are financial, undocumented and that companies are afraid to replace. Like bank ATMs. Look it up.

@jsibo @TIME Life expectancy number (79) is ‘at birth’. Shame on this article about ‘longevity’. Life expectancy at 65 is mid 80s. Look it up.

We’re living through a fundamental transformation in how society ages. At @TIME, we’re exploring what this means for individuals, institutions, and the future of society through TIME Longevity, our editorial platform dedicated to this defining shift. Today, TIME releases the Longevity Issue, presented by @TIAA, featuring a cover story by @AliceParkNY on how experts are rethinking how older generations learn, work, and live as life expectancy in the U.S. rises: time.com/collections/th…  Cover illustration by Sean Freeman & Eve Steben for TIME

🚨 DAD CAUGHT “TRAINING” HIS TEENAGE DAUGHTER FOR THE NEW BOOSTER SEAT LAW - VIEWERS SAY “THIS CAN’T BE A REAL COUNTRY ANYMORE” A dad went viral after picking his teenage daughter up from high school with a booster seat to “prep her” for the new law taking effect Jan 1st - and the footage is absolute insanity. She’s smiling, embarrassed, rolling her eyes… but still climbs in like she’s five. "I can't even fit!" The internet is split between: • People who think the law is actually great • People who think this is peak satire • And people who swear America has entered full clown-mode What do YOU think - overprotective dad, or is this country actually losing its mind?
