@AkashSystems just announced a $300M deal for the world's first diamond-cooled AI servers in partnership with @AMD and @MiTACComputing. This is a landmark moment,  diamond cooling is now commercial & beginning to scale. I was one of Felix’s investors (if not the the first) as he pivoted into the diamond-cooled server space (he had $0 in booked server revenue) from his initial space focus and shortly after joined the advisory board to help him scale the company. Because of this, Banyan Fund I was able to invest on the seed terms, the same as Khosla Ventures and Founders Fund.  The systems deliver throttle-free performance at up to 48°C (120°F), lower GPU temperatures by up to 10°C, increase FLOPs per Watt by up to 22%, and boost token throughput by up to 15%. At the data center level, operators can reallocate up to 100% of cooling power to compute, densify capacity within new and existing facilities, and realize CapEx and OpEx efficiencies. Our patented technology can generate up to $1 million in incremental value per server over four years. This partnership with AMD and MiTAC will bring the world’s most energy- and capital-efficient AI servers to market.
