Yesterday, Maama Janet and I spent the day at Kisozi farm with leaders from the Gomba and Sembabule districts, including some exemplary farmers who gave a good audit of their wealth creation activities. I also used the occasion to invite some mobilizers and the youth minister Hon. Barugahara to listen in on the progress my neighbors are making to fight poverty and improve household incomes in the nine villages that benefited from the pilot project I gave them in 2011.

The UPDF has warned Ugandans to remain vigilant following intelligence that a group of ADF rebels infiltrated the country two days ago. Col. Deo Akiiki Asiimwe the deputy Defence Spokesperson says the group is suspected to be under the command of Tanzanian national and bomb expert Ahamed Muhamood Hassan aka Abu Waqas. He says ADF's intention is to cause mayhem to their targets including urban areas, schools, places of worship and public gatherings. #CapitalNewsDesk

Prophet Elijah James  Kimera, of Faith Centre church of All Nations at Lusanja in Wakiso has been handed a 40 year imprisonment term. The High Court in Kampala heard that the 35 year old born prophet turned a 17 year old follower into his wife, fathered twins with her and infected her with  HIV/AIDS, yet he was in another sexual relationship with the victim's mother and had also fathered two children with the mother at the same time. #CapitalNewsDesk

@CapitalFMUganda Government should come in and intervene the situation bse Ugandans are still facing challenges with so called prophets and pastors. There should be a strong regulation.
