This argument is kind of flawed though. While every artist eventually moves into their own style they all learned by copying the basic principles from someone or something else. No artist was 100% unique in technique but ultimately the finished product was their own. Just for some reason people find it offensive when a machine takes the very same process. Yeah I have friends in film animation that lost their jobs but it’s been universally less because of AI no matter how much people want to blame it and more studio consolidation and mergers. AI isn’t helping but it’s still a tool that streamlines the process. One day will or could it duly replace them? Yeah. But then people will have human studios for enrichment or enjoyment. It’s going to eventually push us all out of work we have to do to survive and more into what we do for enjoyment or enrichment anyway. The transition will suck but it’s inevitable.

Agreed, this AI tech is dependent on the base it its manipulating. But isn't that what Midjourney did in the beginning as well? Take the base art by stealing it from millions of artists to create an entirely merged new piece of art? Other AI is pushing out many artists in many ways this very day which people are feeling. Which is why I said a lot of the backlash on this tech, is receiving the level of anger that it is.

@CaptainChats @IdleSloth84_ If you can’t see a point it probably wasn’t made for you. And that’s ok. Let people who require accessibility have it. I know some developmentally behind kids that’ll love this and some adults with dexterity issues that will enjoy the easier barrier of entry.

Microsoft shows off “Gaming Copilot” on Xbox Here's what it sounds like when you ask the AI for help with Forza Horizon 5, Diablo 4 and Sea of Thieves. Coming to Xbox Series X|S later this year. #GDC2026

@congressdj @elonmusk @aelluswamy I have never gone fishing for something while driving before FSD, before I had a Tesla, and I won’t do it now. If something is so out of reach pull over. Humans have to accept responsibility for their own actions and bad decisions are an action.

Can Tesla push a fix that would require a driver to be paying attention before FSD can be disengaged? Theoretically could be done with the eye-tracking already in place. Would prevent, let’s say, a mother accidentally bumping the wheel when adjusting a baby. @elonmusk @aelluswamy

Would be nice if it was unsupervised in the sense that maybe in certain conditions (say gridlock under 45) it just disabled nag and you assumed responsibility since it’s technically supervised. Honestly not much of a stretch from now anyway. Ands quick glance out the window won’t kill us. But I’ve never had so much as a close call in those conditions.

@NovaOfLagos @Spacedogonmoon @elonmusk @annah_blair @wholemars @WR4NYGov That’s another reason I’m convinced she was actively texting and driving. If she wasn’t the car rapidly slows down when it’s disengaged. Which it’s been confirmed she wasn’t in FSD. She had to have had her foot on the gas and was looking down for it to show it sped up.

The media is running a story today about how a Cybertruck “allegedly” crashed on a Texas highway. Spoiler alert, the crash happened while the human driver was in control. The law firm, which is seeking $1 million, says that last summer Justine Saint Amour was driving her Cybertruck with Autopilot engaged. There’s just one problem — Autopilot is a legacy lane keeping system that never shipped on Cybertruck. The driver then admits that before the crash they disengaged the system and started driving manually. Indeed, the video shows the truck starting to turn before the driver disengaged and drove into the wall. Tesla hasn’t officially responded to the lawsuit yet, but available telemetry indicates the driver probably wasn’t paying attention, got startled, and crashed. There doesn’t seem to be any attempt to steer back towards the on-ramp in the video, rather you see the trajectory change from turning with the ramp to driving straight into it. When you crash your car, people tend to put blame on anyone but themselves. A high profile company like Tesla, with a CEO who is the wealthiest man on Earth? Yeah, they kinds of BS lawsuits happen often. Let’s wait for more data and discovery to take place, but based on the evidence i’m seeing so far that doesn’t look like something FSD — even an older V13 — would do.

@ChadMoran @JCChristopher It was evident the females claims were false. I drive ~200 in my CT everyday and have never seen any form of erratic behavior, let alone drive in a suicidal fashion. How many more times do we have to prove 95% or more is Human error.

I went to the exact same location of the Cybertruck accident shown in the Fox News video. This is the US-69/59 Eastex Freeway northbound HOV lane at the Y-split near the Eastex Park & Ride exit (approaching from downtown Houston toward Humble). In the Fox News video, the vehicle failed to follow the right curve, going straight into the barrier. Well, I tested it twice today with Tesla FSD engaged the entire time with zero human intervention. And unless you think I am a hologram speaking to you from another dimension now, it worked out really well. Here is the video of me taking the exact same curve twice, with Tesla FSD v14.2.2.5.

Encountered a strange bug on FSD 14.2.2.5 the other day. When near the max speed of the speed profile, FSD was applying and immediately reducing the power over and over, creating an sickening rocking effect (watch the power meter go up and down) Anyone else get this?

@LifeIsNotTest @dead_baseball You know that speed limits change right? Construction, turns… going into a turn that’s recommended for 15 doesn’t mean I better have psychically known ahead of time. Also that’s not a speed limit sign. Also they confirmed she wasn’t in FSD. Why perpetuate it?

@bsparky6 @TrueGamer1111 This isn’t like films 2D animators being pushed out of a job with ai. Developers have control over this. It’s been stated again and again. The base code animation modeling and texture have to be there. This isn’t creating a game from a stick figure the ceos daughter made.

A lot of us within the industy are going to fight this, and dismiss reality out of fear. This will render (pun intended) so many very talented people out of a job. So I can see why many people are pretending, or just lying on how much of a huge technology leap we are seeing with this.

Just future reference. You have an overlay. Even in the app. It should save when saving the clip, and why it doesn’t is beyond me. But screen record the app and just crop it to show the video and the overlay. Or use an app like tescam studio and save your clip and import it there to add it back.

If you have a video of a FSD disengagement that resulted in the *definitive* avoidance of certain accident or death, I’d invite you to post it here. Note: Don’t bother posting if the disengagement was done out of caution, which is comfort subjective to every driver in America.

@Walid_Nakhoul @TicTocTick Nope. 444 bucks of that was from home charging. 212 super charging. Savings are actually even way way higher since it greatly underestimated my regional average gas price. I wish the average in LA was 4.32 a gallon.

Nothing of what you said makes sense. You do know that in a Tesla if your foot isn’t on the gas it starts to slow? The same if you disengage self driving. It’ll instantly brake. Any car on top of that when you disengage any sort of driving or lane keeping isn’t going to auto turn for you. So even if your hypothetical was true that part falls on the drivers inattention. Be real. This is 100% some woman texting on her phone and instead of accepting responsibility cashed in on public opinion knowing smooth brained individuals would side with her out of ignorant spite.
