@ludwigABAP It's not ambiguous; the accepted answer that highlights the top block is simply wrong. There is no evidence to deduce that, as there are no such cases in the input. The notion that you should have two tries and take a "leap of faith" is inane.

This would harken back to a vision that many of the Founding Fathers had, where instead of career politicians, we would have upstanding citizens offering to serve their country and then return to their career. A good example of this is seen in Section 5 of the Virginia Declaration of Rights: “[that] the members of [the government] first may be restrained from oppression, by feeling and participating the burdens of the people, they should, at fixed periods, be reduced to a private station”. For far too long have our politicians been serving unseen masters, lining their pockets with untold riches at the expense of the people. Now is the time for a new vision of government, bringing us both back to our roots and onwards to an unprecedented era of true representation, prosperity, and development.

If we succeed in achieving our objectives at DOGE, I expect that a higher % of the nation’s smartest & most ambitious graduates will end up working in the government, for finite periods of time, instead of just flocking to Silicon Valley & Wall Street. This will be a good thing.

In order for our government to truly represent the people, rather than large corporations, we need transparency on who is funding their campaigns. We need transparency on who is donating to their foundations. Most people I’ve spoken to believe that elected officials actually have the people’s best interest at heart. This is clearly because such information is not publicized on a large scale. My challenge here is this: how can we achieve such transparency in the media without overly regulating the industry? If we pass laws to force the media to publicize such data, we could run into many other issues. A separation of media and state is the key here, methonks.

@NickNYIslesMets @charliekirk11 @CodyLibolt If I understand the proposal, it isn’t to tax the people (wealthy or otherwise), it’s to tax the endowments of the universities, which AFAIK are largely funded by donations. Although that doesn’t seem sustainable 😅

🚨NEW—President Trump is vowing to REVOLUTIONIZE higher education. His new plan would: - Create a free, federally funded online university called "American Academy" - Ban wokeness and jihadism - Allow credentials to be used to apply for government and federal contractor jobs - Grant credit to students for past coursework - Tax large private university endowments like Harvard's to pay for the free school - Sue and fine institutions that fail to uphold free speech laws or encourage anti-Semitism “We spend more money on higher education than any other country and yet, they’re turning our students into communists and terrorists and sympathizers of many, many different dimensions. We can’t let this happen.”

Truly unbelievable. The Irish state broadcaster RTE held a town hall on housing tonight. In the audience, they sat a homeless Irish mother beside an African woman who was awarded housing by the council. 🤬

Having been called a liar by Anthony Fauci for saying that "not one of the 72 vaccines mandated for children has ever been safety tested", RFK Jr. sued Fauci. After a year of stonewalling, Fauci's lawyers admitted that RFK Jr. had been right all along. "There's no downstream liability, there's no front-end safety testing... and there's no marketing and advertising costs, because the federal government is ordering 78 million school kids to take that vaccine every year." "What better product could you have? And so there was a gold rush to add all these new vaccines to the schedule... because if you get onto that schedule, it's a billion dollars a year for your company." "So we got all of these new vaccines, 72 shots, 16 vaccines... And that year, 1989, we saw an explosion in chronic disease in American children... ADHD, sleep disorders, language delays, ASD, autism, Tourette's syndrome, ticks, narcolepsy." "Autism went from one in 10,000 in my generation... to one in every 34 kids today."

@kirawontmiss You’ve gotta admit, it’s likely the most exciting, dramatic, and traumatic event of her life. The man died for her in the middle of the ocean. And the Titanic sinking was a great tragedy. So it’s not some random fling she is recounting.

I’ve never told this story before publicly but, I used to be a journalist covering human trafficking on the US Mexico border. I’ve crossed the border illegally covering migrants and cartels countless times. I saw young women in the morgue after they were raped and brutalized in Juarez. I saw a man get stabbed by a coyote in the gut, a terrible way to die. I know the sound a human makes when it happens. I knew a kid Neftali Fuentes who crossed 100+ times helping others not die in the desert across Arizona. I’ve seen cartel wars play out on the streets of Juarez, bodies dangling from over passes. I’ve been held at gun and knife point before. Those who say open borders are humane have no idea what they’re talking about. You live in an air conditioned suburb that might as well be an ivory tower. Do not tell me what we do now is virtuous, it is cowardice. I hope we do what is right which is secure the border, stop criminals from profiting off of misery and help support local governments to be better like El Salvador. If you don’t understand this, yet you’ve never been to the border, never spoken to border patrol, never seen the many crosses in the dessert maybe get down off your high horse and try to understand… or sit this one out.

A study has debunked the narrative that black babies die more with white doctors due to the white doctors' racism. Turns out the black babies the white doctors treated had much lower birth weights. Even when debunking the lie, The Economist says it's understandable people believed it No, that's not understandable. The fact society blindly accepts lies meant to smear Whites as racist without evidence is the problem. It needs to be eradicated, not accepted as part of life.

@jk_rowling I literally learned to read with Harry Potter. I waited in line for every book release. Later, I used HPPS to learn 6 other languages. The stories and philosophy taught me so much. Now, you are a true hero for human rights. It is an honor to live in the same world as you.

You can keep telling yourself this, but you're simply wrong. I'm a left-leaning liberal who's fiercely anti-authoritarian, and if you couldn't deduce that from my work you haven't understood a word of it. I'm not an ideologue. I mistrust ideologies. I've never met an ideologue who wasn't prepared to deny a bit of inconvenient truth to keep their world view intact and I include ideologies with which I find myself in broad sympathy. On the other hand, I am an idealist. I believe in human beings. We are undeniably capable of terrible acts, but the evidence is that we are astoundingly collaborative and mutually supportive, especially when times are hard. My values haven't changed; what's changed is the political landscape. What was once my natural home (a pragmatic centre-left party focused on dealing with economic disparity, championing social liberalism and equal rights) is now dominated by an illiberal, identity-based strain of politics I consider elitist, harmful and out of touch with the day-to-day concerns of regular people, particularly women (and I've still lived more than half of my life as a non-wealthy woman, and some of that time was spent in poverty). There are women with whom I make common cause in the TERF wars I disagree with on other things. Within obvious limits (sucking up to literal Nazis) I don't particularly care about their personal politics. The reality is that there's currently an assault on women's rights unparalleled in my lifetime, and it's coming from both left and right. If ever there was a time for women across the political spectrum to come together, it is now.

#9 - Dr. Peter McCullough Calls On Trump to REPEAL the 1986 Vaccine Injury Act This would strip Big Pharma of its liability shield, making them accountable for injuries caused by their products. “Americans deserve safe vaccines. And when they are applied, the company should stand behind their products, and they should have this liability shield removed,” Dr. McCullough said. Dr. McCullough also urged President-elect Trump to pull the COVID jabs off the market. “They have not had the safety track record America wanted to see. And sadly, so many have suffered injuries, disabilities, and even death.”
