A few hours and drives in with FSD v14.3.5, here’s a review and my first impressions: FSD v14.3.5 strengthened on the already solid v14.3.4 with a few improvements I noticed on my drives this morning. Parking: I did 4 parking jobs on my drives and each one was pretty good. All of them were quick with a good initial approach angle and steering input. 3/4 of them were perfectly centered, one I’d give a 7/10 but could be because the car next to me wasn’t parked great. I saw some people posting about issues they’ve had with it but none so far. Spot selections were all very good and usually first available if not second available and convenient. The Driver Monitoring System/nag has been slightly reduced so far that I’ve noticed on city streets. When it does eventually flash blue you don’t have as much time to touch the wheel, look forward etc. it’s relaxed but when it wants your attention you need to give it quick. The twitch: In my reviews of v14.3.4 I had previously mentioned a twitch the car would do when entering turn lanes, especially with a wider gap between/separating the straight lanes and turn lane. There’s one turn lane that it would wobble the wheel every single time with v14.3.4 and it appears to have been fixed with v14.3.5! Did 3 laps there with zero issues, so I can confirm that one is fixed for me at least. Tried summon which seemed same as before but it said “cameras are calibrating” for a couple seconds at first which I’ve never seen before Hurry mode was very assertive this morning and had excellent lane selection, Mad Max was great as well. Creeping on unprotected turns was good too, it waited a while to make sure the entire road was clear just like v14 lite does and acceleration was great. The new visualization that shows in the app when you’re on FSD is really cool. Nice addition and cool to see. Also I like new feature is you can now view all the camera previews, even when the car is not parked. Overall, excellent build with not much to say or report (which is a great thing!!!!) other than it improved the already good v14.3.4 and fixed some of the lane twitch it had. Haven’t seen any bugs to report yet or anything worse than v14.3.4. I’ll get a ton more driving with it as soon as I can but so far so good!
