the benefit of open markets is that they are self correcting over a long enough period. of course people will trade less crypto in a period where 95% of projects are completely garbage. this isn’t a sign that the industry is dead, it’s a sign that the market values trash as trash and quality as quality. there are some awesome projects in crypto that will continue to do well and more that will come. a good cleansing.

Perps eating global financial markets is the highest conviction thesis I’ve had in my 4 years since starting Syncracy. If we’re right, the sector could produce $350B+ in value over the next 5 years, with the winning chain becoming one of the largest platforms in global finance. As shared in our OG Hyperliquid thesis released over a year ago, we believe $HYPE is the fastest horse in this race. While many skeptics view platforms like Hyperliquid as products of regulatory arbitrage, over time we believe they will come to be understood as a fundamental transformation of the global trading stack. What was once a fragmented world of brokers, exchanges, clearinghouses, among other intermediaries, is giving way to integrated trading systems that are continuously margined, atomically settled, globally accessible, and permissionless to build on. The case isn’t just theoretical as early signs of disruption are already visible in the data. We are already seeing early evidence of this with Hyperliquid’s expansion into spot trading and stablecoins, and soon prediction markets and options. Even $SPX is quietly consolidating within striking distance of ATHs. Some memes are waking up, multiple green candles. The market is not as dead as the sentiment suggests. This isn't boring chop, it's compression before a move. Higher or lower? Who knows. Swing trade setups are forming every week, they just require the discipline to wait for confirmation rather than forcing entries. BTC still chopping below range highs, stocks pinned at ATH, I'm staying cautious. Cash is king for now. Partially positioned. Still in observation mode, not highly actively trading. But attention is shifting, if momentum builds from here rather than fading back into range lows, there are positions worth taking. Patience has been the edge, and that hasn't changed.
