看完 OpenAI 这条, 版本号从 5 跳到 5.5, 听起来像小更新。
但推文里这句话值得反复读几遍:
「a new class of intelligence for real work and powering agents」
用了 real work 和 agents, 没用 chat, 没用 assistant。
列了四个能力:
1. understand complex goals, 理解复杂目标
2. use tools, 使用工具
3. check its work, 自检
4. carry tasks through to completion, 完成任务
单独拿出来看, 这几点都不算新, 过去一年做 agent 的团队基本都在解决这几件事, 只是各家路径不同。
OpenAI 这次把它们放在一起讲, 语气更像在说「模型本身就具备这些能力了」。
具体实现程度如何, 可能还是要等真实场景跑起来之后才知道。
一个容易被忽略的点:
这条推文提到的落地位置是 ChatGPT 和 Codex, API 没出现。
对照一下 GPT-5 发布时的原文, 那次 API 是被单独强调的。这次没提, 原因可以有很多种, 可能是先在自家产品里验证, 也可能是 OpenAI 在重新定义自己和开发者之间的关系。

@IamEmily2050 I prefer the face in the photo on the left, but the one on the left looks a bit more fake. On the other hand, the photo on the right actually looks more real, but personally, I still think the one on the left is prettier.

Image Gen V2 goes for an idol style, while Nano banana Pro is more natural. Still, I can see people using Image Gen V2 more because you can do more with ChatGPT than Gemini: you can have multiple conversations without breaking the flow, generate multiple images and storyboards, or drift to different topics, all in one place. In contrast, Gemini still can't do that since November last year.
