@Franscois15127 @chrisw_co_za @RenaldoGouws In simpel plein Afrikaans: Ja. Een van die DA se kern waardes is dat rassisme nie geduld word nie en dat almal gelyke geleentheid en guns gegee word om 'n sukses van hul omstandighede te maak. Wat jy met daardie geleentheid maak, is wel jou eie saak

So much for freedom on speech. It’s funny how people like Renaldo preach but the second they are challenged they resort to this. This just means he couldn’t refute the facts What a shame

Who is responsible for the ANC in the @CityofJoburgZA? Fast forward to 2022, she refused to support Dr Mpho Phalatse’s mayorship when we had the majority to keep ANC out.
Herman Mashaba@HermanMashaba

In my interview with Reality Street Talk, I speak bluntly about how I was pushed out as Mayor of Johannesburg. The @Our_DA Chairperson of the Federal council and now DA CoJ Mayoral Candidate, @helenzille, held secret meetings with the ANC to remove me. Why? Because I refused to play politics. I was bringing real services to poor communities. I was investing in neglected areas. I was focused on fixing informal settlements, restoring dignity, and ensuring that every resident; not just those in suburbs; received quality services.

@AppollisPe69411 @HermanMashaba Yes that is true for Gauteng. The DA voted for the ANC in the hope of establishing a Provincial Government of Unity like in KZN and National gov. The ANC in Gauteng did not vote for a P-GNU, so now we're stuck with Panyaza

The lies of this woman are beyond deceit. This woman is directly responsible for the ANC government in the City of Johannesburg. We haven’t forgotten. She has the audacity to lie with a straight face. Shameless human being.

Tendepreneurs in Tshwane will have to go to bed hungry tonight. Nasiphi Moya is leading the fight to build internal capacity and shot off the taps that have been feeding the tenderpreneurs.

@HermanMashaba That South African flag is upside down. Please never come again with any message about how you love South Africa or any of that if you can't even have the flag right

The last time this road ever experienced maintenance was before 1994. Now when I visit my family in Temba, Hammanskraal, I drive on a new resurfaced road.

Tomorrow, I’ll be on the ground in Ward 71, Princess, engaging directly with residents at Princess Clinic. Stay tuned as I engage with locals, listen to their concerns, and work together to build a better Johannesburg through #OperationFixJoburg. #MashabaForMayor #ReadyForAction

Residents of Tshwane, we had committed to reduced spending on external contractors. Today, we unveiled 15 new water tankers - enhancing the city’s capacity to provide much needed relief to residents in times of crisis. The plan is increase our capacity to 100 vehicles with R20 million set aside. We are also spending more on the maintenance of water infrastructure as part of our Water Stabilisation Plan. ✅R163.3 million for bulk water provision ✅R158.9 million for wastewater upgrades ✅R101 million for pipe replacement ✅ R120 million for water conservation and demand management ✅R53.9 million for reservoir upgrades @CityTshwane

Executive Mayor: @CityofJoburgZA
The burst in Douglasdale was triggered by a steel pipe that had repeatedly failed over the past three years. Johannesburg Water responded swiftly to the incident on Sunday, 29 March, completing repairs that very evening. Following careful monitoring of the leak repair, they proceeded with backfilling last night. The team is now on site, working diligently to clean up and restore normalcy while ensuring everyone’s safety. #JoburgUpdates

We’ve started with 41 tankers, but the plan is to expand to 100 tankers. We are also working on a permanent structure to house our water tanker drivers. Today, we had 23 of staff members present to mark this shift from a reliance on outsourced service to internal capacity.

The tendepreneurs are having their taps turned off! In Tshwane, 15 water tankers have been added to the city’s fleet as it moves away from the outsourcing model which has seen the connected get rich.

@chrisw_co_za @tarathinks @Bruceps Chris, it's about having a leader that can criss-cross the country to engage voters wherever they may be. You can't do that if you're locked down to a geographic region like a mayor or premier, or to a ministerial position. You need to seperate from the institutions completely

@tarathinks @Bruceps His work as mayor has already grown the DA in ways not possible through being in national government. I’d argue you to go listen to the speech he made at the DAs 2023 Congress Tara. For him capacity isn’t a problem with a good team, direction and plan.

He is right that there is value in distancing himself from cabinet, but he is not simply remaining an MP. The question is how he going to manage a city with an R84bn budget while simultaneously growing the DA on the ground.

#CapeTown mayor @geordinhl, the frontrunner in the #DA leadership race, says that for the party to grow, it will need the votes of people who have never voted for it before. Watch the full episode with @Bruceps here: financialmail.businessday.co.za/opinion/2026-0…

What’s the status of @CityTshwane CFO Gareth Mnisi? Evidence emerging at the Madlanga Commission suggests serious questions he must answer. Yet, he remains in his position. Why hasn’t he been suspended? Tshwane MMC for Corporate and Shared Services, Kholofelo Morodi, was suspended by @nasiphim this week — so why the different standard here? Accountability cannot be selective. @pule_jones

@RiebvJanbeeck @chrisw_co_za Love that you're spewing hatred at someone just being young and actually wanting to make a difference in this country for everyone. So on brand for the right, though. A real, "Kinders moet gesien word, maar nie gehoor word nie." mentality

I make statements about your views and beliefs because they are bad. If you want to voice your opinion you should expect it. That’s X, cupcake. You constantly shill for the DA, criticize Afriforum and discount the discrimination that white people face in SA. I shared a personal story of Afrikaner first years being told they aren’t allowed to speak Afrikaans at Tuks residences and you said it’s nonsense, and you know since you’re “there”. It’s not nonsense, but you’re a stuck up little shit with a distorted and immature leftist view of the world. You ignore the reality that doesn’t fit your childish narrative. You can grow humility as a teenager, grow up or shut up. You can’t talk ignorant shit on here with adults and expect not to get cooked. Now go sleep, it’s past your bedtime.
