@VossLydia76557 @Pat_Stedman We have read books together and she sends me lots of things to help her and I try to understand what she is going through and feeling. It’s tough and we are learning as we go through it together. I’ll have to point her to your account.

@albert_steed @Pat_Stedman Partners who actually pay attention and learn are rarer than they should be. Most women navigate this alone — often while being told the symptoms aren't real. The fact that you tracked it enough to understand it matters more than you probably know.

Pat Stedman | Dating & Relationship Coach for Men
One of the dumbest things you can do on this site is let guys who have never sustained a relationship for 2 years (let alone 5+ with kids) tell you what "X or Y means" in your marriage. These guys are completely fucking clueless how male-female dynamics evolve over time and have no experience managing these inevitable transitions, especially with all of these added responsibilities. They have bailed on every relationship whenever there has been a glimmer of their woman changing her behavior towards them because they are terrified of losing control and have no idea how to handle what comes after. You may think you are an "alpha male" because girls are eager to sleep with you and do all sorts of salacious things, but what you can get with a girl to do with you when you just started dating has minimal to no bearing on how she will respond to you later and how you jump-start passion in that relationship. I've done crazy things with girls when we've started seeing each other, had maximum investment/desire/compliance from them... it doesn't matter. You leave the honeymoon phase and it changes, every time. Unfortunately though many married guys see these posts and start thinking because their wife of 7 years with two kids postpartum doesn't blow them on command "she doesn't actually want them," that they are being played by her, etc. It's all bullshit. Relationships almost always go through a stuck zone of attraction but you CAN absolutely get out of it and make things amazing afterwords. You can get that acute desire back. But the process is totally different than what worked to get her attracted when you first met. Anyone who tells you otherwise but doesn't have the receipts of a longtime relationship and kids under his belt is self-deluded and shouldn't be taken seriously.

There is no way you’ve heard of this job. Dredge Operators They operate the heavy equipment that digs out harbors, rivers, and shipping channels to keep them deep enough for cargo ships. Training: 10-16 weeks Starting pay: $32-48/hour Top earners: $65-85/hour ($135,000-$177,000/year) No college required. Every port in the world needs dredging. The machines are massive. The operators who know how to run them can basically write their own ticket. Most people don’t even know this job exists. Anyone on here know anyone that does this?

@TS_Secrets I don't even know if this is a fair question. The Yota is the only real contender in that list at that mileage.

@jasonmpearl I tried every way possible on my windows machines for texts and the phone link thing was meh a couple years ago. I switched to a MacBook and it’s fine. Some things don’t work as well but the linking to my messages and easy copy and paste between the two is a winner

Having a MacBook Pro laptop and having my texts connected is an absolute game changer. Not having to pick up my phone to text keeps me more focused and helps me avoid unnecessary distraction.

This is why I love what I do! Good people. Good business. Great fun! I am grateful for my friend, @bradsmith and all of the wonderful people I finally got to meet face to face in Wilmington, NC. Brad, you and Danielle were amazing hosts and I am honored to be building with you both! Although it was sunny, next time I visit I am hoping to soak in temps higher than 40 degrees! For those of you that don't know, Wilmington, NC is a top 10 mid-sized city for entrepreneurship. Thanks to my friend, Wayne Hippo for sharing these insights with me during my visit. Next time I am in town I have some requests: - Boat ride with @albert_steed (my wife won't let me get in your plane... 🥹 ) - NC countryside tour with @michellepencz - Live concert with my new favorite band, Driskill, and their frontman @EthanDriskill - Another meal at G-Prime Steakhouse with Brad and Danielle (I am buying this time) - Surf lessons with @niconley - A Wilmington business tour with Wayne Hippo - Coffee at the beach with @zachary_ashburn Ashburn Come to think of it, I may need to start looking at property down there. @trentjhughes can I rent one of your houses? 😉 Finally, I am so grateful for all of these relationships that we curated through @Tribefounders. We don't just do entrepreneurial peer groups, we build friendships for life!
Brad Smith@bradsmith

A few weeks ago my friend @jasonmpearl came down from Buffalo to Wilmington so we could meet face-to-face for the first time. It wasn’t just a quick meetup. We filmed the podcast together. We spent real time talking, not just about business but personal stuff too. We spoke about growth, faith, and family. I left that meeting inspired, prepared, and motivated to keep growing in all aspects of life. Jason isn’t just a business acquaintance now. He’s a friend I can trust, support, and know he’s got my back as well. It was pretty cool because we even spent time working with other entrepreneurs. We had a dinner where Jason provided his feedback, insights, and knowledge from his years of business. It really helped us and my wife Danielle get ready for scale and growth as we prepare for the next steps in our business. If you haven’t connected with Jason yet, I encourage you to not only connect with him but start learning from him and building your relationship with him as well. Thanks for stopping into Wilmington, Jason. We’re looking forward to continuing to have you as a good friend and also helping scale our business.

Who here has a college degree and working in your field making over 1 million a year? I know plenty of folks that went to trade school and now run their own crews doing 1M their first year.

Be honest… how many people on here actually use their college degree in the work they do today? My guess: Most won’t admit it. And I’ll get maybe 5 real answers. If you’re one of the few who do use it, what’s your degree, and what do you do now?

Alright, my “everyone should have at least 1 EV” post somehow turned into a 500-comment death match about minivans vs. pickup trucks. So let’s end it once and for all. Which one’s actually more useful in real life, a 🚐 minivan or 🛻 pickup? Vote your team and tell me why (bonus points if you’ve owned both).

I stopped going to therapy last year And actually feel quite a bit better now I'm now of the belief therapy is great, but also falls under the law of diminishing returns At first it can be game changing But after a while once the big stuff is tackled, nothing really moves the needle You find issues to talk about Meanwhile therapists keep getting paid I think like anything, it's good in moderation Thoughts?

I am horrified. I cannot believe it. I analyzed public databases and media reporting on violent confrontations with ICE over the past year. Just 9 counties accounted for TWO-THIRDS of violent confrontations with ICE in America. This is twice all violent confrontations in the remaining 3,134 counties COMBINED. A violent confrontation in these 9 counties was 590 TIMES more likely than any of these other 3,134 counties. 590 times. I plotted these 9 counties, and I found that all 9 counties are sanctuary jurisdictions run by Democrat politicians that resist immigration law enforcement. These violent confrontations are RARE in states and cities where local officials cooperate with law enforcement.
