If Henry VIII was thrown under a bus I think I’d worry about the bus
Colors ⚓️@NiceColorsss
Anglicans need to stop throwing King Henry VIII under the bus, he was a godly and Christian Prince.

@DougAMacgregor Wrong analogy. Texas is a state of the US. Ukraine is an independent state.
English

What do you think would happen if there were a large established Military force sitting in Mexico that was armed trained and equipped by the Chinese or Russians with goal of taking Texas?
Now use that analogy and think of Russia's position from day 1.
To achieve peace this must be taken into consideration or there will be no deal.

@SuellaBraverman What you’ve said about the UK is frankly, shameful.

🚨 #BREAKING: Justin Trudeau has just announced a retaliatory 25% tariff on American goods
America has SEVERAL states with larger economies than the entire country of Canada
You’re about to FAFO, Little Castro. You will not win this.
English

Careful Trudeau.
The Texas economy is larger than Canada’s.
And we’re not afraid to use it.

🚨 JUST IN: Canada is planning to target REPUBLICAN states in retaliation for Trump’s tariffs, per NYT Bring it, Justin Trudeau. You’re about to learn the definition of FAFO. President Trump’s going to make an example out of you.

@Uncommonsince76 At what point did everyone have guns in England - never, is the answer. Utter rubbish.
English

Piers Morgan- “Everyone in England used to have guns, now they don’t. But the consequence of this is gun crime went away.”
Tucker Carlson- “Oh is London safe now!? 😂”
Piers Morgan- “We do have a knife crime epidemic.”
Tucker - “No you have a people problem. Was there lots of knife crime or shootings in England in the 70’s? No. You imported people who stab each other, and you didn’t used to have that.”

@BorisJohnson Says the man who wrote two pieces, one for, one against, and went for what would get you elected.

Five years ago today Britain regained its freedom as it left the European Union but Brexit means nothing if you don't have a government that truly believes in it.
Britain will never truly succeed until our ruling class finally share the pride and self-confidence of the people.

@RoryStewartUK Sad but should we ever have expected better from them?

Good to see the Telegraph and Spectator taking JD Vance’s side in our debate. Who knew the election of Trump would make our right wing media embrace the fringe idea that Christian love is about putting yourself and your own people first? telegraph.co.uk/news/2025/01/3…

@LindseyGrahamSC Hang on. Is that an elected person saying that a sovereign state should be taken over by the US? Shame on you.

@RobinWardSSH @johnmilbank3 Ramsey a surprise choice, but on reflection I’d agree. Most Diocesans are not up to it.
English

@johnmilbank3 A bit of an underestimate. Warner, North, Cottrell, Conway, Chessun are all quite solid Catholics, though all ineligible for Canterbury. Lake and Usher on the high side. I think they should skip the diocesans and give it to Andrew Rumsey of Ramsbury.
English

@_F_B_G_ When you have a leadership chosen because of so called managerial skills (which are nonsense), then end up with the blandest most ineffective episcopal bench ever.
English

The Church won’t like this but it’s important to note that amidst the undoubted need for structures to change, the root of a lot of the Church’s problems are based in the personalities of the leadership. In that they are increasingly monochrome: this story speaks a thousand words
