@_BradleyWilliam What role did Young play today? He only had 11 CBA’s and more than 60% of his possession heat map was in the offensive half. I didn’t watch the game, but based on that, I assume he predominantly played as a high half fwd/attacking winger and rotated through the midfield.

Going to be fascinating what Freo do with Brayshaw. Both games with Hayden Young this year have been Andy's quietest. Interesting to see if his role tweaks, or how he goes in coming weeks. Still does plenty around the ball, but missing his disposal numbers.

@BraydenTalks He started in the fwd line today, then went into the midfield for a bit, then into the backline and then came back into the midfield in a tagging role. That might be ok for a 10+ year veteran, but not a 24 year old, who’s missed a decent chunk of footy lately and is out of touch.

@TheBackPocketAU I think you completely missed the point anyway. He’s referring to who he would’ve taken at pick 1, so “at the moment” isn’t really relevant to what he’s saying. You draft players on what they will become and who will have the best career, not what they are “at the moment”.

@AFLFantasy There’s way too many players ahead of him in that half back role – laird, cumming, hinge, Milera, Bond and Nankervis. The only way he gets a game in the 1s is as a forward unfortunately for us fantasy players.

The scans showed low grade hamstring awareness, which has a recovery time frame of 1, maybe 2 weeks for someone with a history of hammy problems, which is how long Wardlaw was given.

@Turkey_Boy13 @cleary_mitch Hamstrings at the lower end are typically a 21-day turnaround at a minimum. Wardlaw has a history of hamstring issues and is playing only two weeks after the latest issue... That's poor.
