From the @Anthropic Labor market study: 1. Actual AI impact is currently a fraction of its potential: While AI can theoretically perform many job tasks, "effective coverage" - the tasks AI is actually completing in the real world - remains low. We are currently in a "deployment lag" where technology outpaces workplace integration. 2. High-earning, educated roles are most exposed: The workers most affected are older, more educated, and higher-paid. Roles in Computer Programming and Data Entry see high AI exposure rates, while Teachers remain less "replaceable" for now - assuming they are required to manage a classroom in-person. 3. No "job apocalypse," but entry-level hiring is slowing: There is no evidence of widespread unemployment due to AI yet. However, the study found a "suggestive" slowdown in hiring for younger, entry-level workers in AI-exposed fields, indicating that the path into these professions may be narrowing. 4. Future job growth is being revised downward: Occupations with high AI exposure are projected to grow more slowly over the next decade. For every 10% increase in AI task coverage, projected job growth drops by approximately 0.6%, suggesting AI will dampen future demand for these roles. anthropic.com/research/labor…

@StarHub it's 2026.. why do you: 1. insist on making customers visit a physical store to renew a plan; 2. ask them to pre-register for a time slot, yet put them into the line; 3. indicate a waiting time that isn't remotely accurate. I feel like I'm back in 2006 😮‍💨 Only doing this because I love my parents. (At least I'm not being upsold while waiting.)

I can't believe I'm being asked to download the app while I'm already inside the app. Starhub feels like a relic from a different era.
