Introducing Mocha, the world’s first app builder for non-technical builders.
Lovable and Replit have a dirty secret: they only work if you’re already technical.
We fixed that.
New brand. New capabilities. Same mission: app building for the 99%.

@hubermanlab Are there any low cost blood tests that best signal mitochondrial health?

Three years ago I got sick from something most people overlook: mold exposure.
Today, that journey comes full circle: we’re announcing MoldCo’s $8M Seed (total $11M), led by @cantos + @collabfund, to build the new standard of care for mold and chronic inflammation.
The mission is clear: to serve patients who’ve waited far too long for answers.
To celebrate, we’re giving away 50 free lab tests. Comment “labs” to claim one and we’ll DM you!

@bryan_johnson How do you think about vetting the actual payload of exosomes? Are you only looking at cell type they come from or other assays before you use?

🚨🚨🚨 EXCITING PERSONAL UPDATE 🚨🚨🚨
I am delighted to say that after next week I am joining the @AsteraInstitute as head of strategic investments.
Many foundations grow and maintain their billion-dollar endowments in perpetuity, while funding large staffs that spend money making cautious, consensus bets. Astera isn’t like that. My mandate in this role is to be bold, creative, and flexible, using the entire capital stack to bring new, rad, transformative technologies into existence and scaled use. We’re going to take some big swings—it won’t all be successes, and I’m excited to share what I learn along the way.
This new role also means saying some sad goodbyes. I have immense love and gratitude for the team at @abundanceinst, several members of which I have known and worked with for over a decade across three different orgs. They are wonderful people and supportive colleagues, and I will miss working with them. I will remain a non-resident fellow at Abundance, and they have some exciting projects in the works, so stay tuned.
This summer, my family will also be saying goodbye to the DC area, where we have lived for over 20 years. We are eager to get to know the East Bay better, but we will miss many wonderful neighbors and friends in Northern Virginia. California people: let’s hang out—and please intro me to anyone who has kids who could be good friends for my brilliant and delightfully quirky 10-year olds.
These are big changes for me and my family, but they feel right. I can’t imagine another job that is more suited to my interests and talents. I’m thrilled to get to work with @catehall and the team at Astera. And although it’s hard to leave DC, it feels like the right time to shake things up. Most of all, I am excited to start a new adventure with my wonderful, supportive wife @douradolaw, the love of my life. I’m so lucky to have you as a partner in this and all my endeavors. It’s always you in my big dreams.
