@mathsboi42 @karemooo75 what is the mission of artemis III?
English

@MaraAgainToo @CollinRugg If I go and stand outside a city, and look away from the city and into the sky, the light pollution still makes it very difficult to see the stars, even though I’m not looking at the city
English

@AlexPenn30 @CollinRugg You should see stars anyway, if you're not looking in the direction of the Sun.
English

The Artemis II crew explains to a young viewer why it can be hard to see stars in outer space.
Question: "I wonder, do you still see stars in outer space?"
Jeremy Hansen: "Yeah, I was actually just talking to my crewmates about that today. I've definitely seen stars in outer space, and I was saying I haven't as many as I thought I would. Reid?"
Reid Wiseman: "We have so much illumination from the sun on the moon and the earth right now, it is hard at times to see stars, just like when you walk out in the daytime, you see a blue sky but no stars."
English

@HatterMaddie17 @NikkiCa17 @CollinRugg Nope. Same way the plushie is floating around. Or is that one strange too?
English

@AlexPenn30 @NikkiCa17 @CollinRugg The plugs for Nutella & Honest Lotion are a little strange, don’t you think?
English

@9Occupant61029 @CollinRugg I’ve seen rockets launch with my own eyes. That feels pretty damn real to me
English

@AlexPenn30 @CollinRugg Those video flubs break the believability; the 4th wall.
That's all. Nothing personal.
Belief vs reality.
English

@9Occupant61029 @CollinRugg I’m not familiar with the layer composite stuff so if you’d explain that, that would be helpful, because I don’t know anything about that.
Seeing one harness makes it fake doesn’t make sense though. Just because I wear a seatbelt in my car, that’s not real either?
English

@AlexPenn30 @CollinRugg NASA ISS feeds had serious video layer composite problems that should never exist in "real life."
According to "science," things (people, pens) *float* in "space." Seeing just one harness is enough to blow the show as fake.
But, it's a fraud we tolerate b/c it "inspires."
English

@MaraAgainToo @CollinRugg The atmosphere is not the problem. It’s the big ass sun
English

@AlexPenn30 @CollinRugg It should not be hard to see stars outside our atmosphere.
English

@EgoAlde1 @CollinRugg You quite literally asked for a view out the window. This was taken with the phones they were given, not a crazy camera or anything
English

@UselessVerse @CollinRugg They did not say “we see a blue sky” lmao. It’s called an example. And once again, they didn’t say they don’t see any stars, they said it’s hard at times and he sees less than he expected
English

@AlexPenn30 @CollinRugg Reid Wiseman: "We have so much illumination from the sun on the moon and the earth right now, it is hard at times to see stars, just like when you walk out in the daytime, you see a blue sky but no stars."
English

@9Occupant61029 @CollinRugg I asked what break. As in how it was broken. Love the reading comprehension skills though
Yes? I feel like it’d get pretty annoying eventually just constantly moving in a direction when I don’t want to
English

@AlexPenn30 @CollinRugg A harness/wire in "outer space?" Oh, cope.
The 4th wall is a theatre term for the audience or camera actors pretend isn't there. Breaking the wall can be intentional (aside) or accidental (actor breaks character), and audience's suspension of belief.
ISS feeds come from NASA.
English

@9Occupant61029 @CollinRugg “I’ve seen videos”. I asked if you wanted to disprove it. Not some random person on the internet. Harnesses would make sense, they have extremely little gravity. A harness would hold them. What 4th wall break?
English

@AlexPenn30 @CollinRugg Don't need to. I've seem too many video "errors" from ISS feeds; guys wearing harnesses and wires, crew in a twirl transition vanishing from the ISS cabin ....
The 4th wall broken by NASA themselves via sloppiness, not Twitter.
That's when I started to doubt and then some.
English

@CollinRugg Vas-y, arrête de jacter et montre-nous une vue par la fenêtre ptn...

@CollinRugg It's all horse shit and just as many patriots/truthers believe the lies as liberals. Turn off the TV, turn off the media and use your heads. You're being lied to.
English

@MinenobuOkayama @CollinRugg It’s the same as if you’re near a city. You don’t have to be looking at the city to deal with light pollution
English

@CollinRugg へえーそこは大気圏外ですけどね。太陽や地球の光が何に乱反射するのですかね?それは大発見じゃないですか。

@jrbird419 @CollinRugg At what point did they say “all the stars are gone”?
