@AlexSuart Completly agree. Wherever he goes next, likely back to the Dutch league, he needs to take Gakpo with him. Hes constant use of Gakpo is infuriating. He didn’t had the output or skills to play as a winger or striker. I don’t know what he’s offering this season.

@ThingsByNik Exactly he clearly has his favourites and they play and underperform no matter what, he should have went after getting battered by Forest and PSV at Anfield in the space of about 5 days

@AlexSuart That’s the issue with Slot. He talks about having no players but then plays the same ones each week regardless of how poor they are playing. Bet the players hate him. He had to go, should have gone in November.

@AlexSuart Bringing on Jones yesterday in place of Etikite really annoyed me. Has a forward in Chiesa on the bench but brings on a midfielder, then moved that midfielder to right back.

I know Chiesa isn't good enough. Endo. Ramsay. They shouldn't be playing for Liverpool but they do. With the injuries we've had they should've been dropped in for 15 minutes here and there to ease the burden. Not ideal but the whole season hasn't been.

This is my biggest gripe I think. In spite of the injuries his squad management has been really poor. Why is Allison playing in the FA Cup at Wolves? An opportunity to rest him. He's injured again now. We've had bad luck this season but the manager has compounded it.

The crowd were on Gravenberch's back there because after one touch he needed to just pass the ball quickly but he took a couple more unnecessary touches slowing the move down then passed. Play quick. The crowd knows.

@AlexSuart I think it’s a crucial thing where players respect you given your experience and accomplishments. It’s human nature in many ways. It’s often said Heitinga related very well with the players as opposed to slot and May players we can tell have fallen off with him.

@Mobyhaque1 Managing elite players might be the important difference between them judging by how Slot fell out with our best player earlier this season, Ancelotti and Zidane made a career of it and hoovered up Champions Leagues, at least Alonso would know how to use Wirtz

@whelfam @AlexSuart Ekitike is a youngster who is used to playing in 18 team leagues with one cup competition. Takes a season to adjust to the chaos of this league. Same with Wirtz. Knowing Jota isn’t relevant to anything I said.

The prime reason for this is most footballers are dickheads and won’t accept responsibility for themselves.

They don't compromise when signing players. They certainly won't when appointing a manager. There won't be an interim. Forget it. We're not getting relegated. It's not that pressing.

If there aren't discussions happening over the coming days it's because he's steadfastly their guy and they're okay with defying fans or their prime target isn't available. Only two conclusions.

I disagree with the "it was coming" takes on the Tottenham equalizer. Rewatching the second half, what was actually "coming" is a second Liverpool goal on the break that would've killed the game. This is outcome-based reasoning, not analysis
