@CaptainBulshat @samuelluckhurst He’s not wrong though is he? The main hallmark of all these teams is they have decent technical ability and very high levels of fitness and physical intensity. Their games are focused around running harder than the opponents for the most part

@pressboxwarrior @FPLfrasier Take nothing away from Leeds’ determination to win and get something out of the game. I’m a united fan and congrats on the win. But that said, I am thoroughly annoyed about the red card because it rules Licha out for the next 3 matches, especially the BS way it was handled.

@pressboxwarrior @FPLfrasier You guys played better in the first half. You can’t deny if he didn’t unfairly send off Martinez Utd could’ve possibly made a comeback. Not necessarily win but 2-2 was certainly on the cards. Second half y’all barely got any chances up until the sending off.

@TruthKing43 @UTDFondre I have watched all United’s games. He wasn’t and has never consistently created chances from the right wing. Games he played well in were the Europa league games where he had more space and time. I recall once he couldn’t even beat a Championship defender in the FA cup game.

@Alexative90 @UTDFondre 🤣Go and rewatch Anthony's first season in ManU before media started bashing and affected his confidence. Bro, it's not the Premier league.....its Manchester United! It's for some reason tough to play in Manchester United.

@TruthKing43 @UTDFondre He couldn’t beat his man consistently and can’t create opportunities for others. His shooting was inconsistent as well so pretty much he wasn’t good enough for any positions in the EPL.

@UTDFondre If we're being honest and realistic, he offered the same thing Cunha is offering.....based on performance and passion. We're just giving Cunha more support 🤣 He wasn't terrible.....but at some point he lost his confidence, due to pressure.

@TitiomNC @Mike87_United That is definitely true. But the main difference is having the back 4 allows the midfield to have the ball more often and gives the opportunity for players to pull off an individual piece of skill that wins the game. The back 3 is more defensive and structured which creates less

Since moving to a back 4 we’ve lost at home to Brighton, drawn at Burnley and West Ham, got an injury time winner to beat Fulham at OT and beat a 10 man Tottenham sitting 16th. Outside of the fantastic counter punching displays against the big 2 has much really changed?

🚨 Ruben Amorim had stressed the need for players to “stay and fight” instead of walking away at the first challenge, criticising an entitlement culture in the academy, and previously pointed to Casemiro as an example in a clear message aimed at Mainoo. [@TelegraphDucker]

@Jake110619 @TheUnitedExtra Their possession was just passing around the back and having more bodies come back to receive the pass. Any team can do that

@akhiilgupta @shatahyasir @FrankEra_ The main problem with playing with a back 3/5 is that our wing backs are not entirely comfortable with the ball. And Bruno or Casemiro are not the most comfortable in possession either, which led to so many turnovers. Having Mainoo in midfield allowed more ball retention.

@shatahyasir @FrankEra_ Bruno had less tracking back to do and could venture further up front and utilize his passing skillset to create more chances. The 3-4-3 allows the wingbacks more time on the ball but actually creates less danger on the whole because the final passes were lacking in quality

@FrankEra_ What I realized today is that Amorim didn't leave behind a shattered team, he only left behind a fragile one. When I look at Amorim's signings—Durgo, Heaven, Mbimo, Cisse, Cunha, bringing back Casemiro and Luke Shaw—he improved the connection between the players.

@ZaanTalksFooty @pythaginboots It took Klopp at least a few years to finally get his team able to maintain that intensity for 90mins on a consistent basis. Ruben’s only been here for a year and hasn’t even completed the midfield revamp yet.

I genuinely think Amorim if you were to judge him over ‘periods’ within games and not over 90 mins, has produced the best coached / dominant brand of football Manchester United have seen since Van Gaal. His failure has been trying to maintain dominance over 90 mins. #mufc

@robbyyy @FootballTalkHQ Rooney played too much from a young age and eventually burned out too soon. As he approached the later end of his career the injuries and lost of pace really hurt his game. Nevertheless at his peak he certainly was amazing and brought so much joy to us fans
