Lithium prices quadrupled over the last 2 years, but what does this mean for the price of lithium-ion batteries?
This chart shows that 4x lithium hydroxide prices only increase battery pack prices by 7-9%. Batteries are more sensitive to other metal costs: Ni, Co, Cu and Al.
