Michael Carrick is unlike Ole contrary to popular takes and beliefs amongst his doubters/haters. He has secured UCL football with 3 games to spare. Ole got us UCL football on the final day against Leicester when we won 2 nil. That day I almost shit my pants because I thought we wouldn’t get over the line. For so long now United and its fans have lived on permutations and uncertainties so to finally have someone in charge who brings calmness, assurance, and belief that we can go on to achieve big things. It is something remarkable and praiseworthy but even if you guys can’t bring yourselves to praise him then at the very least respect the huge job he’s done and keep quiet, y’all don’t have to moan about everything.

I have nothing against Carrick and I wish him all the best next season. What I am against is his style of play and approach to games, we can’t play football that way all season long.
The intensity of the whole team has dropped, we sit back against teams we are better than, we depend on Bruno and set pieces goals, all these will only achieve short term result.
If he plays with a definite and clear style of football, surely I’ll be one of his advocates even when he loses. It shows he’s trying to implement something and once the player gets it we’ll be a stable team and go on to win something special and be sure we will compete every season.
For now, I am not a fan of his football.
