Elon, work being optional is not a good thing…and definitely not something we should be promoting. Work is good for people. It gives us purpose. It builds character. Work connects people and builds relationships and communities. Work teaches life skills you can’t learn anywhere else. When you take away work, you don’t just take away a paycheck… You take away dignity. Humans were made to contribute….not to be replaced. And @elonmusk hard as you work and have your whole life, you should know this. As a former flight attendant, a common topic of discussion was airline pilots dying much younger than the general population due to forced retirement at such a young age…used to be 60 and now raised to 65. Pilots have described it as having their “soul ripped out.” STOP promoting “optional work” as progress and acting like it is something people can look forward to in the future. A world without meaningful work isn’t progress. It’s decline. And for goodness sake…think of unintended consequences. It’s like you and others want a world run by machines. We want a world built for people. Humanity is priceless and we were NEVER meant to be replaced. Not now. Not ever. Humans First, always. #HumansFirst
