I signed the Alberta referendum petition the other day. Pretty much everyone I know has signed. Do I think it happens? Probably not. Do I think it’s Alberta’s only path to staying prosperous? Yes. 100%. I was born in Alberta. Built and sold 3 businesses here. It used to be a place where you could build a life. Raise a family. Take risks. Win. That’s gone. Canada’s institutions have been degrading for years. Started in 2015. Still happening now. At this point, I don’t think Canada can be fixed. But Alberta? Alberta still has a chance. @Martyupnorth

@FreeAlbertaRob Pipelines will be useless if our producers can’t afford to produce oil. With the massive costs added through the awful MOU, much of our oil will stay in the ground anyway. Costs include: higher CO2 tax, methane reduction, and CO2 sequestering nonsense. Cancel the MOU! WEXIT!

@jimwachowich Few of us believe that judges are promoted on merit. The courts have take a turn to the extreme left since Trudeau came to power. Race based sentencing & catch and release are baked into the entire system now and BC judges are in the process of giving all the land to the FN.

Danielle Smith would never have revealed that she flew on private jets and stayed at luxury hotels, all funded by the Saudi Arabian government, if I hadn't directly questioned her about it last week. The issue isn't about the golden cat statue. It's about the Premier accepting all manner of lavish gifts from a foreign government without a second thought. Twice the corruption with none of the competence. We deserve better.

That's two consecutive Canadian school shooting plots involving trans-identifying teenagers. And this is in a country where K-12 school shootings are exceedingly rare. If this were *any other* demographic cohort, media and politicians would rightly be asking what the hell is happening.

@DuaneBratt The point is it gives her a stronger mandate to pursue the goal. Because we both know that the federal government will laugh at this letter and ignore it.

What is the point of a referendum if Premier Smith is already pursuing it?
