Air Canada has gone 43 (!) years without a fatal incident. My entire life up to this point has been lived in a country where the flag carrier never got a single person killed in a crash. The record is a totem to what serious people can accomplish. So naturally, Mark Carney is screaming at them to instead focus on nonsense.

@WomanDefiner $24 an hour is normally entry level wages. You work through your apprenticeship and catch on, you'll be upwards of $50+ an hour and double that of you contract in 4 years.
I know the American apprenticeship system is different, but the unions are the same.

I have a brother in law who welds on ships and power plants who makes around 70 an hour.
Union welders make a lot more than non union welders. Free tip.
Those people are making 25 an hour because their training and education is free saving them around 15-25k and 2 years of schooling. The company is giving them a free education.

BREAKING: RCMP have officially charged 18-year-old Jimmy Gassner of Lloydminster with second-degree murder in connection with the March 14 shooting on the Queen Elizabeth II Highway.
Gassner was arrested on Saturday in Canoe Lake, Saskatchewan, and is being transported back to Alberta to face court proceedings. The charge follows the death of 22-year-old Birinder Singh, who was killed while driving near Leduc.
Investigators confirmed today that while a suspect is in custody, they are still working to determine a motive for the incident.

The rest of Canada imports more oil from overseas, than they do from Alberta.
