@hubermanlab Funny, that’s what I have been telling people to do… I usually say valsalva for as long as you can and then repeat… works everytime! 💪

There is one science-supported approach to eliminating hiccups. And it works. The key is to halt the spasming of the phrenic nerve. Here I explain how to do that.

A declaration of CICO means that all viable upper airway options have been exhausted & that attention should now be directed towards performing neck rescue. Declaring CICO should be inextricably linked to the need to perform neck rescue.

Ceci died unexpectedly on Dec 5, 2022 at 14 months old. She was our daughter & we are devastated. She was so smart, smiley, stubborn & squishy. She adored the rabbits in our yard & playing with her nanny “Shang NaiNai” & sisters. She is loved & missed beyond comprehension (1/5).

@TeresabDB62 @nick_coatsworth @mjrowland68 Still working hard… to ‘rewrite’ the failures of the ‘experts’ otherwise know as ICEG who failed to adapt to unknowns and new data in their hubris and their lack of precaution…

@mjrowland68 The policy transition to airborne recognition occurred on July 29th 2020 in Vic and July 31st federally after a transmission event with droplet PPE in Vic. Lyn Gilbert formulated 'aerosol inducing behaviour risk' to HCWs as a concept before Fauci did
Michael Rowland@mjrowland68

Epidemiologist Raina MacIntyre says the denial that COVID was spread through airborne transmission hindered the early response to the pandemic: 'It's almost like a cult, this belief - this denial of airborne transmission.' @BreakfastNews

@venessb @RealOzSAGE Exactly - if the schools don’t need them then all parents of school age children in NSW should contact their state member of parliament and demand that the newly installed system in NSW Parliament House be removed and the politicians can then lead by example #nswpol #nswcovid

Our kids deserve air as fresh as our politicians’. “…@RealOzSAGE said on Monday schools should be given the same treatment as NSW Parliament, where the upper house’s ventilation system has been upgraded to ensure eight exchanges of fresh air every hour.” smh.com.au/national/nsw/s…

Since the start of the pandemic, our frontline health staff have been working to keep every Australian safe. They've missed countless weekends, birthdays, weddings, funerals, holidays, and so much more. We need to honour their sacrifices – but just thanking them won't cut it.

@carstendog @916_stevo @semiosmith @rajah_mich When there were no deaths in this age group from Covid in Australia & the vaccine could cause deaths then it was fair advice. Now there is Covid and Delta it is a totally different risk benefit equation. These equations are not rigid… but nuance is probably beyond your politics

@rajah_mich Good. You're a disgrace of a human with your pro-plauge stance and undermining of the vaccine role out. @AlboMP while the ALP continues to throw up shit like this as candidates you will remain "The Opposition*.

@djoll @nick_coatsworth Perhaps his modelling didn’t account for the 25% of people who actually had Covid in England, and probably a significant proportion of them were the ones not going to get vaccinated… think we are going to need a lot more than ‘70% of 80% (>16yo) of the population.’

@nick_coatsworth @_realsAuSage @NjbBari3 Are you ok Nick? For a public facing individual you aren’t managing your social media profile well… or is it “The best form of defence against covering up mistakes is ‘offense’?” We can’t all be right, clearly the government have not being.

I think much of the incoherence & backflips in #COVID19 response, esp in rich countries, came about b/c ppl don't understand who ICU teams are & what they do I'm an intensive care specialist who did an MBA to try & understand this better myself, here goes at an explanation: 🧵⬇️

@snouzin @nick_coatsworth It’s a risk benefit equation Nick, and the Pfizer is better on every level as you know - but now we are left with a different equation, delta + wait for vaccine vs delta plus take what is available... thanks to the Strollout

@charlesfirth lock downs in 2021? We should have been at 60% vaccinated by now and be open. Although i dont expect to see a single international tourist for years. In the end the long term economic and mental damage done may be worse than the actual virus itself

@TcameronTodd @nick_coatsworth @crikey_news I do respect these experts But it is dangerous to take only one/few expert’s (however much qualified) view point on “complex” problems In reality, we need panels of experts, with broad view, debate & forming consensus for COMPLEX problems

@drajm @SallyBryant3 @nick_coatsworth @crikey_news And have prevented the worst case predictions from happening by their public advocacy and media appearances. This is such amateur selective reporting that even a journalist would be embarrassed to write it... oh he’s not a journalist even? Maybe he gets direct high level insights
