Big news for brain health—and a huge moment for CBN. A new peer-reviewed study, conducted by the Department of Cellular Neurobiology at the Salk Institute and led by Dr. Pamela Maher, just published in Cell Reports Medicine, shows CBN reversed age-related cognitive decline in preclinical models. Not slowed. Reversed. At FloraWorks, we were honored to contribute to this research by supporting the screening of over 40 cannabinoids for neuroprotective potential and supplying our high-purity TruCBN for this SAMP8 study. CBN emerged as a clear outlier, demonstrating significantly stronger effects than any other cannabinoid evaluated. CBN could be one of the most important new tools in the fight against age-related memory loss and neurodegenerative disease. By targeting the root drivers of decline—oxidative stress and mitochondrial dysfunction—CBN shows real promise in improving memory and protecting long-term brain health. This is why we do what we do. To push cannabinoid science beyond the hype and into real solutions that improve lives. 🔗 Read the study here: #fig2" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

While millions of seniors suffer through sleepless nights and chronic pain, a DC lobbying group just sued to make sure they keep suffering. Smart Approaches to Marijuana (SAM) filed a federal lawsuit yesterday against HHS and CMS — demanding an emergency court order to block Medicare patients from accessing legal, physician-supervised cannabinoid therapy. Tomorrow. The program launches tomorrow. And SAM wants a judge to kill it before a single grandmother gets relief. Here's what they're so afraid of: → A CMS Innovation Center program allowing participating ACOs and oncology providers to offer Medicare beneficiaries federally legal hemp-derived cannabinoid products → Capped at $500/year per patient → Products must be ≤0.3% THC, ≤3mg THC/serving, non-inhalable, and third-party tested → Requires physician oversight, shared decision-making, and an approved implementation plan → Testing covers potency, pesticides, heavy metals, solvents, and microbials Read that list again. This is the most tightly regulated cannabinoid access program the federal government has ever created. And SAM's position is that it shouldn't exist. Their legal argument? CMS skipped formal rulemaking and exceeded its authority. They want the court to declare the entire program unlawful and permanently block it. But let's talk about who SAM actually is. SAM is a political organization — not a research institution, not a patient group — that has spent 13 years fighting every cannabis reform effort in America. State legalization. Federal rescheduling. Medical access. All of it. They have never met a cannabinoid policy they didn't try to destroy. And now their target is elderly cancer patients and Medicare beneficiaries whose doctors want to offer them a legal, tested, plant-derived option for sleep and pain — instead of another prescription. The plaintiffs include SAM, the Drug Free America Foundation, and Cannabis Industry Victims Educating Litigators. They added one Medicare beneficiary for standing. One. Because they couldn't find more who wanted to sue for less access to care. Patients deserve more options, not fewer. Especially the most vulnerable among us. SAM disagrees. Let that sink in. #Medicare #Cannabinoids #CBD #CBN #Healthcare #CMS #HempIndustry #PatientAccess #ACO

Before anyone accuses me of being anti-alcohol: I was on a serious path, a real quest, to become a Master Sommelier. Wine wasn’t escapism for me, it was study, craft, history, restraint. I’m not a prohibitionist. Never have been. Which is exactly why watching people trip over themselves to defend alcohol while demonizing marijuana is laughable. Alcohol doesn’t get protected because it’s safer. It gets protected because it’s culturally entrenched. It’s the drug of boardrooms and backyard barbecues. The unspoken companion of meetings, negotiations, stress, celebration, grief. What would CEOs, doctors, and investment bankers do without their scotch? What would half of corporate America look like without a drink in hand? Alcohol kills hundreds of thousands every year. Its withdrawal can literally kill you. It fuels cancer, liver failure, violence, and addiction, and we still call it “tame.” Marijuana isn’t harmless. Nothing is. But it doesn’t come close to alcohol’s body count. If alcohol were introduced today, it would never be legalized the way it is now. So let’s be honest about what this debate really is. It’s not about safety. It’s about which drugs the powerful prefer and which ones they’re comfortable shaming.

At the population level, diagnosed cannabis-induced psychosis is uncommon. Measured in a few cases per 100,000 people per year in registries. That’s the base rate. Small corner of a very big box.

“Weed use leads to becoming potheads” :a person who frequently smokes marijuana Can’t make this shit up… sobriety rotting his brain.

@lynssss3125 Even assuming there are no physical health problems with weed, everyone can see that weed use leads to becoming potheads. Not all toxic outcomes are physical health related.

Physicians are not commentators. We are stewards of evidence. That standard should show in how we communicate. What is missing here is clinical context. Frequency of use is not synonymous with addiction. A utilization curve does not establish harm, causality, or policy failure. Millions of Americans use cannabis regularly. Some will develop problematic use. That warrants screening, dose guidance, and risk stratification. It does not warrant slogans. Journalists frame narratives. Our job is to interpret data, weigh competing risks, and translate uncertainty into care. When patient behavior shifts at scale, our obligation is harm reduction and education. Public trust depends on that distinction. #MedTwitter #AddictionMedicine #Psychiatry

I saw this coming for years, which is why I voted no to legalizing marijuana. More recreational drugs are never a good idea. And please remember that the medical societies in the United States endorsed legalizing marijuana. Damn fools!

Nano Banana + Fastmoss + Manus + Veo3 = AI Content Factory We built a fully automated system that repurposes, localizes, and launches winning TikTok Shop content across hundreds of creator-style accounts. It’s so effective it feels like running Facebook ads in 2008. - CPMs as low as $0.10 - no reliance on paid ads - no ghost creators - no wasted samples - no lost time My $300/monthly tech stack which replaced $50k+ budget: - manus for product research and viral script ideas - cruva / Fastmoss for recently viral content ideas from competitors - nano banana pro for images - kling 2.6 for video - now using my own phone posting network for automated posting Here’s how it works: •Each AI Agent spins up a TikTok Shop–ready profile, built to sell my products through shoppable videos. •Agents are prompted to research the niche, scrape winning TikTok Shop videos, and rebuild them with new hooks, angles, and UGC-style visuals tailored to your brand. •They create and post daily using my tech stack onto affiliate accounts No touchpoints. No delays. Just shoppable videos going live and GMV compounding every week. Then we use an MPS (Multi-Platform Swarm) approach: once the concept works on TikTok Shop, we deploy hundreds of AI Agents to flood the niche with variations that all drive back to your Shop and Amazon listing. I’m giving you access to the full stack — the ai workflow, ready to plug into your TikTok Shop today. Comment “Workflow” and I’ll send you everything. (must be connected) PS – Repost for early access to the full TikTok Shop content factory system.

Linoleic acid, the main omega-6 fat found in seed oils, is obesogenic. A high linoleic acid diet actually makes animals fatter than alternative diets higher in saturated fat AND sugar (fructose). Coincidentally, seed oil availability correlates with human obesity rates more closely than saturated fat or sugar.

Rapeseed was toxic. Gave heart lesions to mice in the '50s. So they rebranded it “canola” and subsidized it into every kitchen in America. Seed oils aren’t food. They’re industrial waste with heart healthy labels.

Conversation between marketing department and chemist, 1960: Marketing: "We need to sell more soybean oil but nobody wants it." Chemist: "It oxidises immediately, goes rancid, and tastes terrible." Marketing: "Can we make it not taste terrible?" Chemist: "We can deodorise it chemically after extraction with hexane." Marketing: "Perfect. What about the oxidation?" Chemist: "Unfixable. It'll oxidise in their bodies and cause inflammation for years." Marketing: "But will they notice immediately?" Chemist: "No, the damage is cumulative." Marketing: "Excellent. Call it 'vegetable oil' and put a heart on the label." Chemist: "Isn't that dishonest?" Marketing: "It's from plants. Plants are healthy. Therefore it's healthy." Chemist: "That's not how biochemistry works." Marketing: "That's exactly how marketing works."

Tl;dr: buying 2.5x mNAV $MSTR in June of 2021 outperformed just buying Bitcoin. $MSTR perspective thread 🧵 Last cycle, $MSTR peaked on Feb 8, 2021, with high of $131.50 a share (10:1 split adjusted) (5.75x mNAV, $19B market cap) They held 71,000 BTC I was purchasing $MSTR shares throughout 2021, getting hammered by the price all along the way. Below is a screenshot of some shares I purchased at $654 (split adjusted $65.4). Thinking the stock was down 50% at the time, I thought “this is a good entry” trading at 2.5 mNAV. Little did I know, the stock would fall another 80% from my cost basis (down to $135). 90% from the ATH in Feb 2021 earlier that year. By November 2022, $MSTR was trading down to 1.3 basic mNAV, while holding 129,999 Bitcoin, AND the notional debt on the balance sheet was greater than the assets on the balance sheet (100%+ leverage ratio). Why do I bring this up? I was down bad on paper, but the math and the equity valuations didn’t make any sense to me, the company had REAL hard money, debt covenants weren’t egregious, and structurally everything on the horizon for crypto was bullish. (Halving, ETFs, election, interest rates, etc). By mid 2023, I garnered enough solo conviction to be “all in”. The math was too good. The incentive structure was too good. The capital structure was evolving. The world was adopting. FAST FORWARD to today. $MSTR is holding 672,497 Bitcoin (+417% in HODL). 12x more than the next closest publicly traded company. The 1x NAV PER SHARE as of 12/29/25 is $170 Per Share. The 1x NAV per share price is 160% greater than the 2.5x mNAV shares I purchased back in June of 2021… In other words, my shares have been de-risked over time from capital market activities and the 1x mNAV floor is constantly rising, and has risen above my cost basis. Bitcoin would need to go to $33,000, and $MSTR to 1x mNAV to be below my June ‘21 cost basis (possible, but quite unlikely). So why does this matter? Who cares? From here on out, the shares I had purchased at 2.5x mNAV in June of 2021, will structurally outperform Bitcoin with ZERO additional accretion in the Bitcoin held by $MSTR. And I don’t have to do anything. The shares work at acquiring more bitcoin exposure for me. Why? There is materially more Bitcoin exposure in EACH share I purchased in 2021 than when I bought them. EXCESS Bitcoin exposure (risk and return), has been accreted to each common share The common equity has been de-risked over time and amplified with more bitcoin exposure. And to top it off, the $MSTR balance sheet is healthier than ever (28% amplification), with 5 perpetual preferred equity securities in the market (6 different capital taps) I’m sharing this to showcase the power of having a fundamental based long term thesis on Bitcoin and the corporate adoption of Bitcoin. Performance of other assets from June 2021 to now: S&P 500: + 58% Bitcoin: + 123% MSTR: + 200% Gold: +133% Silver: +164% Tesla: +126% NVDA: +955% MSFT: +88% I would have only been better off purchasing NVDA in June of 2021 over 2.5x mNAV $MSTR in June of 2021... And that’s using a reference point AFTER the common stock has dropped 72% from its recent ATH in Nov of 2024. The strategy is working and constantly improving. It will get stronger from here, not weaker. 4 year+ sharehodlers have been de-risked and the balance sheet is more powerful than ever. If you have a long term view & thesis on Bitcoin, I don’t see any reason to not be structurally bulled up about Amplified Bitcoin and Digital Credit here.

🚨 BIG PHARMA FINALLY PROVES WEED WORKS FOR BACK PAIN - THEN LOCKS IT BEHIND RED TAPE German pharma company Vertanical just published two Phase 3 trials in Nature Medicine: THC-based cannabis extract beat both placebo and opioids for chronic lower back pain across 1,200+ patients. The setup: mostly THC with smaller amounts of CBD and CBG, starting at 2.5mg twice daily, maxing at 10mg. Patients reported less pain for up to a year, slept better, moved better. No withdrawal when stopping. Here's what matters: opioid patients had to keep increasing doses. Cannabis patients didn't. That's the game - tolerance without escalation. The product launches in Europe next year. For the US? Another Phase 3 trial required, meaning years away despite 70 million Americans suffering from chronic lower back pain right now. So Big Pharma just proved a plant extract works better than their most profitable drugs, published it in a top-tier journal, and immediately made sure Americans can't access the regulated version. Meanwhile, doctors are already prescribing synthetic THC (dronabinol) off-label based on these results, and the White House just reclassified cannabis as less dangerous. Translation: the science is settled, the market's open, but the FDA approval timeline guarantees legacy pharma keeps selling opioids while "evaluating" the competition. Source: WSJ, Nature Medicine

🚨 THE $50 BILLION CANNABIS LOCKOUT On December 18th, a presidential directive was buried in the Federal Register. It will transfer $50 billion from the IRS to companies Wall Street legally cannot buy. Here's what $50 trillion in locked-out capital doesn't want you to know: Cannabis MSOs: 4x EBITDA Beer companies: 12x EBITDA Same margins. Same customers. Same business model. The only difference is a single word on a government schedule. POTUS Trump just signed an Executive Order commanding AG Bondi to reschedule cannabis "in the most expeditious manner." Not guidance. Not a suggestion. A presidential directive. Signed. Verified. Published. The market prices implementation at 20%. The math says 70%. Someone is catastrophically wrong. THE DEADLINES: → $460M Curaleaf debt: December 15, 2026 → $350M Verano debt: October 30, 2026 → $28B hemp gray market dies: November 12, 2026 → $35.2B tax burden eliminated: Day Schedule III hits These aren't predictions. They're calendar entries. THE EXPECTED RETURN: (0.25 × 175%) + (0.50 × 70%) + (0.25 × -30%) = +71.25% THE LOCKOUT: $50 trillion in institutional capital ... pensions, mutual funds, ETFs ... cannot legally touch this. You can. By the time they're allowed in, the arbitrage is gone. 12 months. Wine or milk. I know which. Read the full deep dive on U.S. cannabis stocks. open.substack.com/pub/shanakaans…
