I have seen this boy making many artificial creatures out of empty plastic bottles. Plastic pollution is a serious problem in most Uganda's rural and urban centers. They pose an environmental threat and this if not controlled will affect food security. @AfricanIIJ,@infoNILE

We need to protect Mt. Rwenzori🏔️ since it's part of our culture, identity & our source of livelihood. If we fail to conserve it, it's our loss. We need to come up with local solutions so people at the grassroot level can also understand & contribute. - @cecic_ug

As an environmental activist, I am passionate about the role of women & how cultural knowledge can be used to address climate change 🌥️. I plant at least 10 trees every wet season. I encourage everyone to take up a role that would help to save planet earth🌎- @Gal1Masika

Hydro-electric power from large dams, urbanisation & employment are always discounted against displacement of people, tourism & #biodiversity loss. Such is the tale of residents close to 183MW Isimba dam in Uganda🇺🇬. Should this be the case though?tinyurl.com/2vzdpwpn
