🚨🇬🇧 Tommy Robinson didn’t expose the grooming gang scandal. Andrew Norfolk did - in 2011, two years before Robinson was anywhere near it. Norfolk won the Orwell Prize. He forced national inquiries. He changed policy.
Robinson arrived after the story ran, found an audience, and got jailed twice for contempt at the very trials he claimed to be supporting. Judges ruled he risked letting perpetrators walk.
He then got a media deal, sold merchandise, and built a legal defence fund on the back of it.
He didn’t champion victims. He found a cause someone else uncovered and turned it into a racist, Islamophobic, culture war brand.
Andrew Norfolk won the Orwell Prize. Tommy Robinson sells merch and self-victimhood, laughing all the way to the bank.
