It's also why 7-3 could be beaten by Gohan and Piccolo working together, because he could only make himself as strong as Gohan, so of course he was gonna lose to Gohan + backup.

The entire left besides Gas and Freiza are fodder getting beat instantly, Gas puts up a bit of a fight but gets slammed by the 5 together, then it becomes a 1v5 with Black Freiza in which I’m not fully sure who wins.

@Tmc0610 I honestly think Frieza is hiding the fact that he can only use his new form for seconds at a time, if only because Frieza's forms having stamina issues is a reoccurring weakness for him.

@Oceaniz96 I've always been disappointed how Rise/Wilds did away with waist-high water/snow slowing you down, which is what I immediately think of I think if the environment being hostile to the player. Or stumbling into Poison Cups or Paratoads because player attacks can trigger them.

I'm thinking abt this because while chipping away at my big Wilds review, I realized all my issues can be connected to one design aspect;
For a game about the *wilds*, about facing an unknown new territory, the wilds in question are broadly harmless

@GalaxySoldier Goku never spars with and humiliates Zamasu, setting the events of the arc into motion. Goku also never witnesses the Hakai on Zamasu in the manga continuity.
I'm convinced people who prefer the manga version of this arc do so purely because it's way shorter.

A lot of people think that Master Chief is indifferent to killing humans just because ONI is evil. Multiple times in the books it's stated that he feels almost like he could never kill another human being again because of the atrocities he witnessed first hand from the covenant.

@DocShock1 @SonNinja216 In the manga, Vegeta implies Broly fights in the same advanced manner as Jiren (despite how little sense that makes). The english dub of Broly does also have Vegeta say that Broly is LEARNING as he fights, so maybe Broly isn't getting stronger so much as simply more skilled.

@Nasafitra You could argue it's because the variants ARE the MR versions of these fights, but if so it's strange to me how base Legiana is allowed to stick around.

@Nasafitra I think one thing that made me sad about the Iceborne roster was how the MR variants came at the cost of the original monster not appearing at all, like Nerg, Bazel, and Jho.

@Dropout_LC @ContonMods There's honestly a lot of improving you can do when it comes to XV2 menus and UI. I think one obvious change is that the player needs the ability to fast travel in the hub directly from the menu.

If age 1000 is xenoverse 3, I pray that they actually have a system to search for certain super souls based on effects.
Like I would love to search for an SS in XV2 simply by having a filter so I can pick "activates when enemy is K.O." similar to how you can in dokkan & legends.

@Omegax_27 I think it's really funny how the narrative around Reach flipped as well. When it came out, lore fans hated how much it contradicted the book, and multiplayer fans were tearing their hair out over armor lock.

@DuGuesama @SeeReax Bad players whining about ki blast cancelling when it's a tool 99% of the cast has access to, and devs have even coded high level AI to exploit themselves, is just a case of said players refusing to engage with the game.

@DuGuesama @SeeReax If they do it after a vanish, and it lands, it's probably because you were swinging at empty air. Get into the habit of ki cancelling when the opponent vanishes and side stepping to avoid whatever they try to do. Backhits are a gamble and arent worth it at high level play

DBFZ is a better video game. But XV2 is the better DB game, to me
XV2 is the best DB game of all time to me (unpopular opinion). So much more to do. Customizing your own char, story, infinite support, etc. And I fw the gameplay a lot personally when the connection is stable

@DuGuesama @SeeReax XV combat is just one of those games where dealing optimal damage is never mechanically difficult-- it's just a matter of winning neutral more often than your opponent until they can no longer evade or defend against your optimal damage combo.

@DuGuesama @SeeReax Not to mention how the game gives you Limit Burst that's yet another combo breaker for when you run out of all your other combo breakers.
