PRINTER TROUBLESHOOTING: CHECKED THE CABLE? After walking through all of the steps to check why a printer dropped off the network including the switch LEDs, trunk settings, as some do forget to hit SAVE thus losing those settings on a switch reboot, there's really only one option left: Change the patch cable. In fact, it's a good idea to refresh them at some point as the plastic housings, boots, and tabs can dry up, crack, and break over time.

Two identical Philips Hue lights joined to @home_assistant by ZHA. Why does one insist on flashing? Not in pairing mode (I’ve just manually re-paired just in case), and no effect running. What’s going on here?

Setting up a new laptop for the mrs and I couldn't use winget until I spent 30 minutes troubleshooting as the winget source wouldn't update. Downloading source.msix and installing resolved the issue. This is meant to be the future for application management? #winget #Windows11

@sundaybliss1 I wonder if that was similar to my first job where centrelink paid part of the wage, then after 3/6 months the employer would put you on full/part. Which he never did, he'd cycle people in on the scheme, pay them peanuts then when it was time to employ fully, he said "not suited"

My daughters first job at a fish and chip shop, $8 per hour. She worked good Friday (yesterday) and he still paid a flat rate with no increase. So she got $56 for 7 hours on the busiest day of the year. She made a choice after that that she won't be going back.
