@ShamsCharania NBA’s biggest sponsor is a gambling site that bets on the league and referees help dictate the outcome on the NBA Games when they call the games certain ways, and if you speak up about it the NBA takes ya money. That’s funny.

OpenAI co-founder Brockman testifying again this AM. If Musk's lawyer tried to make Brockman sound like a small time loser yesterday, OpenAI's lawyers are now giving Brockman an opportunity to make Musk seem like a dummy who totally whiffed on the potential of GPT.

🚨 Tesla just moved 4 more Model Ys to unsupervised, total now 36 Robotaxis These cars were running with safety drivers before, now fully driverless. This kind of conversion is key, scaling autonomy isn’t just adding cars, it’s upgrading the fleet. 🚀 $TSLA

@VictorTaelin But Taelin We can do smarter compaction algorithms and have it remember previous sessions I do this in ask-ai by performing a hybrid search based on your prompt so the agent "recalls" certain subjects previously discussed, this is injected dynamically within the context

seriously, working with AI is MISERABLE for one and only one reason: having to re-explain the same thing "oh yeah this new session obviously doesn't know what proper case trees are, so let me explain it for the 5000th time in my life" I'm tired AGENTS.md doesn't solve this because it is impossible to fit the entire domain knowledge without nuking the context - it would be 1m+ tokens worth RAGs don't solve this, the agent won't search unknown unknowns SKILLs don't solve this unless I keep like a collection of 1750 skills with specific cuts of domain knowledge for each possible subset of my domain that I might need in a given chat, but that's a lot of manual work recursive LLMs or whatever don't solve this for the same reason, you can't dump a domain book and expect the AGENT will magically guess that it is supposed to search for a specific bit knowledge. unknown unknowns fine tuning doesn't solve this (OSS models suck and OpenAI / Anthropic gave up on user fine tuning) I honestly think a good product around fine tuning on your domain would be a major hit and an underdog lab should take this opportunity

NEWS: Elon Musk back on the witness stand for day 4 of OpenAI trial. Proceedings are underway with Elon Musk on the stand. OpenAI’s lawyer William Savitt is having the courtroom watch a video from Elon Musk’s deposition about his recollection of a 2018 term sheet, which became a flash point during Wednesday’s testimony. Elon Musk testified Wednesday that he read the very first part of the term sheet to grasp the high-level details. Savitt argues Elon Musk made no mention in any of his depositions about reading the term sheet in any capacity. The back and forth was the most heated moment of Wednesday’s cross-examination.

NEWS: Judge warns Elon Musk’s attorneys that day 4 trial is not about AI safety risks. Before jurors entered the courtroom, Elon Musk’s lead attorney Steve Molo asked Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers to clarify what UC Berkeley Computer Science Professor Stuart Russell can discuss as a key expert witness. “The expert will not testify outside the confines of their report and anything disclosed during their deposition,” the judge said, joking that “Despite the movies, we don’t have big surprises at trials.” Molo argued Russell should be able to discuss the possibility that AI could cause “extinction” or climate catastrophes, raising his voice: “We all could die! We all could die as a result of artificial intelligence!” The judge noted the irony that Elon Musk, despite these risks, “is creating a company in the exact space” as OpenAI. “I suspect there are plenty of people who do not want to put the future of humanity in Mr. Musk’s hands. But it doesn’t matter. We are not going to get into those issues,” the judge said. “The question here is about whether there was a breach of charitable trust. This is not a trial on the safety risks of artificial intelligence.”

Hyundai has unveiled their next-generation infotainment system called Pleos, which looks to be inspired by Tesla. The company plans to equip 20 million Hyundai, Kia and Genesis vehicles with this new system by 2030. At the core of Pleos is Gleo AI, a voice assistant built on a large language model (LLM): • Context-Aware: Gleo AI uses conversational and driving context to accurately interpret abstract commands like “navigate there” or “find a restaurant near here.” • Multi-Command Processing: It can recognize and execute multiple commands within a single request. • Web Searches: It can also respond to user questions on topics such as the news, weather and sports through web searches • Integrated Vehicle Control: Users can manage navigation, adjust climate settings and access vehicle manual information using natural language. • Zone-Specific Recognition: The system can identify the speaker’s location within the cabin to execute precise commands, such as “turn on my heated seat.” Large Central Screen: A wide-view display divided into three main sections: • The Driving Information Screen shows essential data including speed and warning lights, along with 3D graphics of surrounding objects and people. • The App Screen is used for navigation, media and third-party applications. It can be switched between the Single Screen mode for immersive content, and the Split Screen for multitasking. • The Bottom Bar provides one-tap access to recently used or pinned apps.

Tesla quietly banked $573M selling gear to SpaceX & xAI last year. Nice synergy. But let’s call it what it is: Musk moving money between his companies while Tesla’s auto margins get squeezed. One big happy (private) family until public shareholders want clearer separation. #MuskInc #TeslaEcosystem
