You don’t serve someone and then ask what you get in return. you stand behind what you do. unconditionally. most businesses in India operate on the exact opposite principle. sell fast. disappear faster. especially in the used car market. then I saw Cars24 offer something that genuinely stopped me. 30 days to return the car if something feels wrong. a lifetime warranty after that. that’s not a policy. that’s accountability. seva without expectation is rare in any form. even rarer in business. good to see it exist somewhere.

@GG37374104 I have heard Bramptonians use the rule "As long as the tire is not on the sidewalk" to justify parking like this. Doesn't make sense, and I don't know if there's a rule like that. If there is, it needs to change.

Brampton sidewalks. You tell me why they don't have summer students out every day & night handing out tickets. Does the city not need the revenue?

Reminder: rotate your API tokens after leaks. I didn't rotate mine on @braintrust (wasn't actively using anything and didn't realize I still had active keys there). $10K+ of Anthropic spend there after their leak

@techgirl1908 @techgir Alright let me know if it works. There is also another way to do it with Claude through MCP/connectors. Either the one I initially shared or this should work .

@sachinsingh1010 @HelleLyngSvends Sit down, loser. A politician can be asked a question anywhere. They are not at a privileged position since they are not the monarchs. Journalists have to question them on behalf of the people wherever they find them. The press was allowed at the event. End of story.

@HelleLyngSvends You need to go back to basics...there is a difference between Press briefing and Press Conference... If it was indeed press conference did ur PM take question during the same briefing ...if you can share Q & A....

Primeminister of India, Narendra Modi, would not take my question, I was not expecting him to. Norway has the number one spot on the World Press Freedom Index, India is at 157th, competing with Palestine, Emirates & Cuba. It is our job to question the powers we cooperate with.

People nowadays are under-read, and ill-read. They have either not read enough, or they have read the wrong books.

@AmanAlam @DanielleFong I have always said that entirety of Bharat (including breakaway regions like Pak) is unified by a common cultural thread, despite unique norms in its regions. That is Indian nationalism 101.

@thevirdas This just made me realise that Indian government was always good at not addressing those issues with the citizens, ever. Earlier there weren’t even state addresses. Then, unless asked the politicians will never say anything. The media system did the asking. Not anymore.

I don’t know what the vague scaremongering speeches are signalling for India or hinting towards, and I wish they would spell it out with a clear state of the economy address. Talk to us about the war, forex, foreign investment, currency, energy, and a general over view of the economy. This doesn’t feel like it’s only about the war. But I can’t think of a citizen who wouldn’t adjust and make economic behaviour changes if you were just clear with us. These speeches are creating panic, and worse…blind panic.

When do you reach for other models instead of Claude? What can we do better? Hit me with all of your frustrations. dms open. If you can give me detail (e.g. specifics/transcipts) - it'll help a lot in finding out exactly what we need to do to improve the next model

@manassarov @DanielleFong Incorrect. Then, facts don’t care much about who likes what. If you want to go micro then South Asia anyway is a congregation of multiple regions with their own cultures.

Chausa is Indian variety
Aman Aalam 🥑 🇨🇦@AmanAlam

@DanielleFong As an Indian myself, I also miss the various varieties of mangos. But in Canada I got to try the Pakistani Chausa mango, and it blew my socks off. Post-covid its gotten super expensive, sadly.

@manassarov @DanielleFong What I bought and ate was sold as a Pakistani Chausa. It probably was shipped from there. It might have originated in Bihar. Both are the same land. I have had Chausa in India too, plenty of it. There’s no need to constantly nitpick and fight over petty things all the time

@bivekadhi @bznotes I think unless local legislation forces it, the economic incentives alone might not move the needle. Lunar excavation has to be high-tech, non-human (and expensive) anyway so not sure if that’s a valid comparison.

@bivekadhi @bznotes Correct. Many of those minerals are still in countries where labour is exploited and is cheap. Managing technical equipment also means either up-skilling existing, or hiring new workforce = added costs. Sociopolitical risks too, tied to sudden mass unemployment.
