Although my right elbow and wrist still get like this (and my AC joints are always bad), my med regimen has mostly prevented my other joints from reaching this point where they buckle and can’t support me. I wish my rollator weren’t so bulky/fit better in my home…

Sleep did not do enough to reduce the pain in my left hip and now my right ankle is also yelling at me. These are going beyond my usual RP joint flares to the point where I feel almost like the joints are sprained in addition to just swollen + stiff + painful.

It feels absolutely wrong and disgusting and awful to touch a sandwich without being able to clean my hands but I can’t keep waiting to eat. My headache is raging and I don’t want all of these unmasked HCWs to dirty what work my air purifier has managed…

What is riskier—trying to eat a sandwich without washing my hands or even being given an alcohol towelette, or calling someone who likely would not be wearing a mask properly to bring me something to clean my hands?

I polled my friends from the UP and my hypothesis doesn't hold. 46% say Monday at midnight/early Tuesday morning while 54% say end of day Tuesday

We were both having our minds blown last night thinking about the fact that we had no idea that other people had different interpretations of this. I think it matters. People use the language "by tomorrow", "by Tuesday", etc. all the time. @IsabelRamirezRD said to me, "Now I’m wondering how often does someone assume one is late vs on time & how that may strain a working relationship if the assumption is a whole 24 hr different. I’m wondering where the split occurred & what else may have this kind of split interpretation." Is it regional/cultural? (I grew up in the Upper Peninsula (UP) of Michigan in an area that was like 90% Finnish & the culture was to be punctual. For the first few years after leaving the UP I would get anxious if I couldn't get somewhere 10 minutes early. lol.)

@Feisty_Waters @MotherOBunnies Solidarity! I also can’t wear head strap masks but have found the way to best fit KN95s for me. The mask shaming Olympics do not help anyone. But seeing selfies of other people in their masks helps SO much. I’m sorry for the flak you’ve gotten.

Just to put things in context the IDF has just issued a warning to evacuate an area of central Beirut outside the ‘stronghold’. It is rush hour and thousands are stuck in their cars including children and families. The target has no military value and the aim is to terrorize. 🇱🇧
