@iangolds You’re so right! It’s critical that making sustainable, healthy choices feels approachable (not withstanding food deserts, etc.)— cooking “literacy” programs are often available for those who are off put by how to cook produce too! There *are* options available to keep costs low!

@AmandaHunterMPH I ran out of characters but yes, I got that and buns, mangos, grapes, tomato sauce. If I hadn’t bought the dish soap my bill would have been $54. Yes, food inflation is a major issue but you can still get fresh produce and meats for reasonable prices.

Been seeing a lot of BS grocery store posts with idiots stating how much they paid for their groceries with processed foods or 5 $10 bags of almonds so their bill comes out to $150+. Here is a $61 shop at Whole Foods with unprocessed shit that includes 1lbs of pork, chicken, beef
