People who are transphobic will always be an enigma to me. Why are you getting so tilted over someone just wanting to feel more comfortable in their own body? Because that’s what it boils down to.

The red/blue button situation has been intense, huh? One of the strangest (or saddest) things to witness is that people getting heated about "RED BUTTON IS THE ONLY LOGICAL SOLUTION" seem near incapable of framing the thought experiment outside a purely individualistic lens.

Blue vs Red button morality hypothetical: Everyone is suddenly teleported into separate rooms, alone, with two buttons. If over 50% press blue, everyone survives. If over 50% press red, everyone who chose blue dies. Which do you press?

@AmatorAnim32880 @utdbyron2 @Burden_Existing @ChiiFGC Blue has won every poll. The only reason a dumbass like you still votes red is because you want the outcome of red winning a poll. That’s the only thing that attracts you to red, the thought that your result kills people that you find lesser for not being as shallow as you.

I would hit the blue button because I don’t want anyone to die, and I also don’t want to live in a world of only people who put themselves first I would love to live in a world where 80%+ of people hit the blue button, because I want to live in a high-trust functioning society

Kırmızı tamamen ben piçim butonudur. Çünkü herkes biliyor ki yüzde yüz kırmızıya ulaşmak yüzde 51 maviye ulaşmaktan zor. Kırmızı seçersen birini öldürme riski alıyorsun.
emir@kaptan_nemo_

iki buton var ve herkesin oyu gizli. eğer %50'den fazlamız mavi butona basarsa kimse ölmeyecek. eğer %50'den fazlamız kırmızı butona basarsa sadece mavi butona basanlar ölecek yabancılar birkaç gündür bu felsefi ve etik problem üzerine kavga ediyor. siz neye basıyorsunuz ?

I will just say it, the whole ''100% vs 50%'' argument from blues is a joke. I don't care about reaching 100% survival rate, because those who died did so willingly. Don't suicide and make me responsible for your actions. ''B-but we have to save the retards''. Most blues think like that, therefore, you are the retards.

it doesnt even have to be 51%, it can be 50.0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001%

“If literally everyone picks red, everyone lives.” Ummm hey I don’t know if one of us is misreading the prompt, but would everyone pushing blue also guarantee survival for everyone ? Hell it doesn’t even have to be everyone, just more than half. Isn’t getting 51% easier than 100?

@ScootablueA @Recursion_Agent you cant help blue voters by pressing blue though you are just one person so your vote wouldn't increase any percentage the logical think to do pressing red and hoping %50 of people choose blue

The goal of red voters is to protect their own lives, the goal of blue voters is to protect the lives of others. If 51% of people vote blue, everyone lives. If 51% of people vote red, 49% of the world dies- including everyone who was willing to risk their lives to help people.

@excel_loml Okay so if there isn't any kids disabled exc why keep pressing blue? you still put your life to someone else's hand and waiting to saved from others. There is a high chance of you die with %49 of blue without saving anybody

This is a fundamental misunderstanding of what Blue pressers think. For them, it doesn't matter whether or not they can safely press it. It's about ensuring everyone lives, even if they have to put their own lives on the line to do so.

Steve McCormick@Quasilocal

Roughly it's like this right? Red button: "I don't think blue would come close to 50% in the real world" (So I can't safely press it) Blue button: "I feel confident in my fellow human to do the right thing and blue will win" (so it's safe to press blue)

No. If you go Red, you are responsible for any deaths caused by Red, especially since you were told that this result could kill people. It doesn’t matter if you thought those deaths were unlikely, or you weren’t the deciding vote. You’re still voting for murder. Deal with it.
Paul Uponi@DrUpauli

There's good reasons to chose either of them, but can we PLEASE stop saying that people who chose red are guilty of mass murder? That is genuinely the most absurd thing I've heard in a long time and fails ethics 101
