🚨 The quiet economic power of Indian immigrants in America:
We rarely see them shopping in regular American brick-and-mortar stores, small family businesses, or non-corporate spots.
Instead, their money flows heavily into Indian-owned stores, restaurants, temples, and networks — building a strong parallel economy inside America.
High-income group + strong in-group spending = massive economic influence with very little assimilation into the broader American marketplace.
This is why you see Indian CEOs, Indian managers, and Indian-owned businesses clustering together. Money stays in the community.

People are against mass immigration because you can literally feel the difference it causes in society. The differences are what matters.
If Australias immigration came from Europe, you literally wouldn't feel any different, because we share a common culture. I would be fine with 300k immigrants from Europe.
Indians don't share our culture. Arguably they have one of the worst cultures on the planet. It is easily visible the difference they are causing in Australia.

Flew business class with thai airways
Indian lady put her bare feet up on table between the seats, where drinks go.
She went to bathroom right before me and pissed all over the seat then closed the lid, she also threw tp all over the floor and left it there. I had to ask flight attendant to clean it up and she was embarrassed and disgusted too
The husband was listening to videos with no headphones and their shitty baby cried entire trip, louder than my noise cancelling

If countries like Thailand start restricting Indian tourists, where exactly are Indians supposed to go? Indians spend billions globally on tourism, shopping, hotels, food, and local economies. Treating Indian travelers like second-class visitors while happily taking their money is a dangerous trend.

India deadass doesn't allow worker visas to translate into permanent residence, but both Indians and their government are outraged that our ridiculously generous program isn't even more generous.

Indians shouldn't be "building a life here" while on a student visa or other temporary visa.
When I lived in Germany for a year as a student, I didn't "build a life" there. I was there for a year, then I went back home to my life in the USA.
You visit, then leave.
