But with Republicans openly threatening to maximize their own gerrymanders after the court ruling, such hopes of mutual forbearance are now plainly dead. They have been generals and other officers who have shown their leadership skills in combat. Hegseth was at Fox News for several years. Now he’s the secretary of defense?
