बड़ी ही शर्मनाक - बेहद दुखद!! 💔 जब सोशल मीडिया पर या जब भारतीय पश्चिमी देशों में जाते हैं और दुनिया भर में हमें नस्ल के आधार पर निशाना बनाया जाता है, तब हमें बहुत बुरा लगता है। लेकिन अपने ही देश में, अपने ही नागरिकों को नस्ल, रंग और शक्ल-सूरत की वजह से अपमानित किया जाना, गालियाँ दी जाना और हिंसा का शिकार बनाया जाना -यह उससे कहीं ज़्यादा डरावनी और शर्मनाक सच्चाई है। हमें बाहर से आकर हमें बाँटने वालों की जरूरत नहीं है। सच्चाई यह है कि हम खुद एक बँटा हुआ समाज बनते जा रहे हैं। हमारे बीच ही वे लोग मौजूद हैं, जो हमें रंग, चेहरे, बोली और पहचान के नाम पर बाँट रहे हैं। बाहर से किसी दुश्मन की जरूरत ही नहीं रह गई। अंजेल चकमा की मौत हमारे समाज के सामूहिक विवेक को झकझोर देने वाली घटना है। दोषियों को सजा मिल भी जाएगी, लेकिन समाज के भीतर फैली इस घृणा और मानसिकता का इलाज कहीं ज्यादा मुश्किल और ज्यादा जरूरी है।
