River #Severn peaked at 4.8m overnight and the @EnvAgencyMids temporary barrier at Beales Corner successfully protected the community from flooding. Thanks to #Worcestershire field team onsite monitoring the pumps through the night @WorcsTravel @worcscc @WyreForestDC @bewdleytc

We’ve seen some pretty incredible rainfall and river flows in #CumbriaFloods (more to follow) which sadly means around 40 homes flooded - but we are looking at around 1450 protected by flood defences - so big thank you to all the emergency services, community groups & #TeamEA 🙏🏻
