If you ever get a Great Pyrenees know they don’t fetch. They don’t retrieve. If you throw a ball, they’ll look at you like “well that was stupid. Now you have to go get it.” They’re bred to go on a hilltop with sheep and watch them alone for days. So they expect that you trust them to make their own decisions. They enjoy sitting and observing, and patrolling. Then more observing. Then more patrolling. They like to sleep in places where they can see everything.

@fionaismybitch @Suefren324 People need to step up and adopt. Anti-dog laws in apartments s/b abolished: that w/help. Itz not hard to include a dog in your family, or if you are alone. Thay don t argue, do drugs, drain your energy and bank account. They give back way more than what you think you give them.

They like constant patterns. No contradictory signals or superfluous ( bad) code. Constant and efficient commands.

@Birfmas132355 @kittenaround_51 I w/feel better if I saw the dog kiss her, and then gives the treat, w/o the bowl. if she insists on leaving the bowl in place, then give a treat AND give the bowl, but don't put his whole bowl of food in front of the dog, combined with 'no'. That is a tease.

That’s a beautiful dog but you might want to get a professional to help break this habit. This looks like an accident waiting to happen sadly.

WE COULDN’T SAVE BAMBI BUT WE CAN SAVE PEDRO!!! 💔💔💔💔I am about to rant about something no one wants to talk about. People care more about the dead dogs than the living. Myself I care about both, but I hate that a post about a living dog is either ignored or declined/removed. People aren’t upset until it is too late. That is the hardest part about sharing these, seeing these, interacting with these. Knowing most people can care less. For example poor Bambi was euthanized today while no one was looking. When I posted Bambi, three groups said yes. The best she got was 3 likes. The larger groups declined to post her , so she was not seen. She certainly was not saved. Would it have saved her? I can’t say. It didn’t happen, & it wouldn’t have hurt. When Molly was alive, same scenario. When she died, well you can see for yourself. You bet your sweet patootie that post was allowed & shared & liked. Now Pedro. No one came for him. Is he alive right now. I think so. Will he be tomorrow morning? No. He is a good dog, but he is energetic, & the shelter cannot contain him. He needed a family or a chance. He did not get either. We don’t get anything for doing this. We are not killing them. People that do not spay & neuter are. People that aren’t responsibly breeding are. The people who take pets that cannot care for are. The people that don’t treat them as a lifetime responsibility are. Note the key word is people. Rescues can only save so many. They work off donations only. They cannot take them all. Don’t assume they can. Fosters are overwhelmed with what they already have, & new fosters aren’t coming in as much. They can’t help all of them. I assure you, if they could they would. I hate that dogs are dying in shelters. I hate it, but what I truly hate is the posts about their deaths are more featured & shared than when they are alive. I hate that their deaths are the only thing that garners attention. Some of us loved Bambi. We think she deserved more. We damn sure think Pedro does too. A Luna la rescataron de una terraza donde la tuvieron amarrada tres años bajo el sol. 🐕🛋️💔 Cuando la nueva familia la llevó al apartamento, la perra caminaba pegada a las paredes para no estorbar. Doña Carmen le compró una cobija azul muy suave y la puso encima del sofá grande para que pudiera dormir cómoda. Pero Luna no quería subir por nada del mundo. Se quedaba sentada en el piso temblando, poniendo solo una patita en el borde de la tela y mirando hacia abajo, esperando el regaño o el golpe. El esposo de Doña Carmen, que decía que no quería perros en la casa, terminó sentándose en el piso de la sala a comerse el almuerzo con ella para que agarrara confianza. 😂 Fueron casi dos semanas de pura paciencia, dándole galletas en el borde hasta que entendió que no le iban a pegar. Ayer, por primera vez, Luna saltó al sofá sola. Se enrolló en la cobija azul, soltó un suspiro largo de alivio y cerró los ojos. @fionaismybitch I was not there. BUT if *multiple dogs* appear to have bitten whomsoever, *from my experience*, this can happen only of other dogs are *loose* and this MAY happen "by mistake", or "accident". NOT intentional. Dogs are not computers, thankfully.

LAKELAND, FLORIDA IS POLK COUNTY FLORIDA…THIS RESCUE NEEDS TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 FAILED BY A RESCUE and scheduled to be killed at Polk County Animal Services!! Rescue Paws FL do right by this innocent dog you failed! His name is #JACK #A2328974 and he was pulled from Palm Beach County in April by Rescue Paws FL aka Amanda Lipman. Placed in a home with 13 OTHER DOGS and a child! His shelter notes stated he had mouthy behavior, overstimulated behavior with other dogs and not suitable for playgroups. Of course this was while he was at the shelter and very typical in a shelter environment but this rescue took him and put him in a home where there are 13 other dogs and a child. This same person who was fostering him just had multiple dogs removed from her property by Polk county who were under Lakeland pitbull Advocates! What responsible Rescue would place a dog like this in a home like that? Within 24 hours of this dog being in that home an incident occurred. The dogs were barking. Jack got scared. The foster ended up getting attacked and 13 dogs attacked Jack. Jack was blamed for the injuries, which I find extremely questionable. The articles want to blame the foster dog on the attack to the foster however, those 13 dogs were not her personal dogs and I guarantee multiple dogs were involved. This was not their fault. This was the Rescue ‘s fault for placing that dog in this home and the foster’s fault for taking in 7 more dogs in addition to her seven when she just had several dogs removed from her home! Stop blaming the dog and the breed because I see that’s what’s happening in the comments of these articles! There is always more to the story and in this case here it is!
