@HeatherR411 Heather, I am so sorry about the nightmare. They are terrible when they’re happening, and when you wake up, even though you realize it was just a dream, it can still leave mental scars.
Anticipation of loss & stress of caregiving are big factors.

I had a nightmare last night that Ethan fell off a mountain & I couldn’t save him
29 surgeries/5 heart surgeries/heart attack & 20 years of witnessing my son’s medical trauma. I wonder if the nightmares eventually stop
