Turned 44 today at 14.3% body fat, the lowest I have been. Sharing publicly for accountability, so I don’t slack and revert back to the mean, 🥶and maybe inspire a few folks and remind that age is just a number. 😬
And thanks everyone for the birthday wishes.
Competition is for losers is a famous business strategy outlined by Peter Thiel.
According to this: if you are looking to create a business, you should focus on creating a monopoly.
For 99% people on earth, this way of thinking is just plain stupid.
Most people want to do a job or create a business to live a life. Not get consumed by it.
Look around: the founders of most funded businesses are deeply stressed out.
Creating a monopoly sounds fascinating-- but to get a company to scale to the point where it becomes a monopoly requires decades of work. And, most would die along the way, without generating 1Rs in profit.
On the flip side, creating small profitable businesses can be done fairly quickly.
