Once in a while, a lab achievement stands out. The discovery of #TASL as new target in the #IRF5 proinflammatory pathway and in #lupus was such a case. Now, just three years after, we report on a highly specific TASL-inhibitory chemical compound, called #feeblin.

Choline! We need it to make membranes and acetylcholine, & for DNA/protein methylation. Our brains need a LOT of it! 🧠 We show that FLVCR2 transports choline into the brain & solved its structure in the OFS & IFS with choline bound. 🐀🔬 Check it out! biorxiv.org/content/10.110…
