@BarbaraPlatts I always told friends: Travel all you want up until 6 (maybe even 8 months) but once that baby turns toddler and wants to move, particularly if they crawl, keep them home till 18 months.

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but taking a 4 month old on an airplane is SO MUCH easier than taking a 10 month old on one.

@conz I am so sorry you had to experience that. I’ll never forget the first time my kids’ school went into lockdown because of a potentially dangerous situation. I sobbed all the way driving there for 30 minutes. And thankfully it was a false alarm.

A key to lifelong learning is to see everyone you meet as a potential teacher. No one has a monopoly on wisdom. Each interaction is a chance to question old assumptions and gain new perspectives. Collecting lessons from others is the fastest way to fill gaps in your experience.
