@mdhiggs I know it was..but how sad is that! I heard people say "we don't want to be owned by the French". Like what the...so childish. Now pay your super amazing low rates, deal with PLPNGS and the Mactaquac dam --- over $4 billion to renew OR dismantle.

@mdhiggs NBers missed their golden chance under Graham. Imagine the hundreds of millions saved yearly had the deal gone ahead VS a referendum/election. Didn't understand why NBers hated the idea other than fear of the unknown? I was in QC at the time..

@KevMVickers @mdhiggs I am hoping the current government revives that idea; NB Power simply isn't making any money and isn't about to make any (Mactaquac dam is gonna be expensive). We need to offload the utility along with it's debt if we plan on surviving...Hydro Quebec is a great utility!

@mdhiggs Can someone please explain to me why the Province voted Conservative against Shawn Graham’s ballot box question on engaging Quebec Power eliminating NB Power Debt, substantially cheaper monthly power bills for everyone and avoiding layoffs and closures like Irving’s today.

@mdhiggs I can say this with a 100% degree of certainty; they charge approximately $5k for commercial kits. My employer just bought some.

@BrentStaeben Many of Canada's biggest medal contenders for Paris are in the pool. Two from NB! Swimming has taken on lots of growth but simply has not been recognized/acknowledged by the masses. Hope it does sooner than later.

@FrederictonReal In the current market , I find that a great asking price! No doubt it will go for a lot more than the asking price
