@AutoInfatuation I think 1004 HX balances your point about incorporating the X plus catching the eye more than the three letter formats which are relatively common.

In a completely unexpected twist I’ve had someone trying rather hard today to buy the dateless registration I have on my BMW M760Li which is ‘99 HXW’. Hopefully looks like we’ve struck a deal and I’ve made a nice little profit but the problem being I’ll then not have a business related plate on my car which my vehicles are known for having, plus I love a classy looking dateless or suffix plate 😊 Which one of the 4 below looks best in your opinion? My business initials are ‘HX’ but it’s the H that’s key really, followed by the X. The ‘X’ stands for Xec for clarity hence why the HXC plates are so good. They are in order of price, 5 HXC is more than I’d ideally like to add to the sale of mine but it’s a lovely 1x4. 1082 H is a rare style of plate you don’t see often in the UK so would be a nice one to have too 🤔
